chapter 7

.

Ignoring everything I started eating silently, which was hard as every once in a while some curious student questioned me.

Despite being continuously disturbed, the meal was delicious so I enjoyed it, especially the desserts that came after the food disappeared.

Only once I finished my seventh scoop of strawberry ice cream did I feel satisfied. I didn't eat any other variety of dessert and just waited.

At last, the desserts too disappeared, and Dumbledore got to his feet again. The hall fell silent, listening to the most powerful wizard in Britain if not the world.

"Ahem – just a few more words now that we are all fed and watered. I have a few start-of-term notices to give you.

"First years should note that the forest on the grounds is forbidden to all pupils. And a few of our older students would do well to remember that as well."

Dumbledore's twinkling eyes flashed in the direction of the Weasley twins.

"I have also been asked by Mr Filch, the caretaker, to remind you all that no magic should be used between classes in the corridors." Dumbledore paused, looking towards the squib caretaker.

"Quidditch trials will be held in the second week of the term. Anyone interested in playing for their house teams should contact Madam Hooch."

After saying that, Dumbledore's face turned solemn as he continued.

"And finally, I must tell you that this year, the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death."

I heard Harry and some other muggle-born wizards laugh at Dumbledore's words.

He's not serious?" Harry muttered to Percy, ignoring the disappointed look from his twin. Something that made me chuckle.

"Must be," said Percy, frowning at Dumbledore. "It's odd because he usually gives us a reason why we're not allowed to go somewhere – the forest's full of dangerous beasts, everyone knows that. I do think he might have told us prefects, at least."

"And now, before we go to bed, let us sing the school song!" cried Dumbledore. I rolled my eyes at his excitement. I didn't need to see the reaction of the teacher to know the horrendous song coming.

Dumbledore gave his wand a little flick. as if he was trying to get a fly off the end, and a long golden ribbon flew out of it, which rose high above the tables and twisted itself, snakelike, into words.

"Everyone pick their favourite tune," he said, "and off we go!"

And the students bellowed at his words.

"Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,

Teach us something please,

Whether we be old and bald

Or young with scabby knees,

Our heads could do with filling

With some interesting stuff,

For now they're bare and full of air,

Dead flied and bits of fluff,

So teach us things worth knowing,

Bring back what we've forgot,

Just do your best, we'll do the rest,

And learn until our brains all rot."

Everybody finished the song at different times. At last, only the Weasley twins were left singing along to a very slow funeral march. Dumbledore conducted their last few lines with his wand and when they had finished, he was one of those who clapped loudest.

"Ah, music," he the had audacity to say that after butchering it and if that wasn't enough he continued, wiping his eyes. "A magic beyond all we do here! And now, bedtime. Off you trot!"

'Come to my office after an hour.' A seductive voice sounded in my head as we exited the Great Hall. I turned my head to meet Minerva's powerful green eyes and nodded.

After that the Gryffindor first years followed Percy through the chattering crowds, out of the Great Hall, and up the marble staircase.

Percy told us about the staircase and the nature of changing pathways as he led us to our dorms. Despite feeling restless and bored I listened attentively to remember the pathway leading to our dorms and classes, especially our head of house's office.

At last, we reached the very end of the corridor where a portrait of a very fat woman in a pink silk dress hung.

"Password?" she asked.

"Caput Draconis," said Percy, and the portrait swung forward to reveal a round hole in the wall. We all scrambled through it and found ourselves in the Gryffindor common room, a cosy, round room full of squashy armchairs.

Percy directed the girls through one door to their dormitory and the boys through another.

At the top of a spiral staircase, we found their beds at last: five four-posters hung with deep red, velvet curtains. Their trunks had already been brought up.

Too tired to talk much, the other boys pulled on their pyjamas and fell into bed. Leaving me only one awake.

Once an hour passed I snuck out of the dorm, not that I had to as I was told by our house head to come to her office.

Gliding through the memorised corridors I soon reached her office and knocked on her door.

"Come." Her muffled voice came from the door after a few seconds.

I entered the room at her words, closing the door behind me. I raised an eyebrow looking at her untidy robe and hair.

"Sit there." Minerva pointed at the couch near the window. I nodded and walked up to the couch before plopping down.

As I sat, Minerva worked something on a piece of parchment and only five minutes later did she drop the parchment and stand from her chair.

She walked up to me, her hips swaying seductively that even her loose robe couldn't hide.

Sitting beside me, her hands snuck to my waist and lifted me up to her lap.

She rested her head on my shoulder and whispered. "How was the first day, sweaty?" Her breathy voice and warm breath alongside womanly scent making my dick twitch.

"Great!" I answered flustered, adjusting my position to hide my boner, though only made it harder as the feeling of her squishy thighs below me made it go full commando.
