Chapter 3: Embarrassment

 Henry. Your wife!"

He turned to me instantly

Then he slowly smiled.

My head began pounding even harder

 "Yeah... You're the girl that kissed me today"

He said when we reached the back seat and I nodded

He sized me up before rising

"Olivia, right?"

I nodded

He stretched out his hand for a handshake and I took it slowly

 "We asked her why she kissed you and she said she loves you" Senior Artemis added

Senior Jerry laughed

God why??

Senior Henry frowned, amused.

A senior in the backseat murmured to our hearing

 "So this is the shameless girl"

 "It's her" Her neighbor answered.

All the SS2s then turned to me,

 "I wasn't prepared the last time you kissed me. How about we redo it?"

My eyes widened as he slipped an arm around my waist tilting his head to the side.

 "Senior I can't..."

 "Why? You seemed so eager to kiss me before"

 "That was cause..." I said, my voice trailing off.

 "Cause?"

 "I... Um..."

He leaned in with one swift movement and our noses were inches apart. People started cheering.

 Foolish me... I shut my eyes

But his lips didn't meet mine. Instead, he whispered

 "Psych (Just kidding)

I forcefully opened my eyes and everyone around was laughing.

 "Ah. Henry..." Senior Nancy said

Senior Henry just smirked

I was standing there feeling super embarrassed, so embarrassed that I wanted to cry.

 Before I could process the whole thing, he left a peck on my lips.

 "I ..." I mumbled

Everyone was silent.... quite shocked.

 "You?"

I dashed out of the class as some laughed and the noise increased.

'Olivia, what the hell did you get yourself into??' I thought

I kept querying myself till I reached my set block

 I looked at my friends. They surrounded me and I was shaking, rocking myself back and forth with my arms wrapped around myself like my life was over. We were already in our room.

"Would you stop being dramatic and tell us what happened!" Christy yelled.

 "Seriously !"Claire added

After a few breaths, I exhaled.

 "They took me to Senior Henry's class"

 "What!!!"

They all exclaimed 

 "Cause I said I loved him"

 "True. But you only like him, love is a strong word. Wow!" Kamsy giggled.

 " I was so embarrassed, he... He kissed me..."

 "What!!!"

They exclaimed again.

 "How was that even possible??" Claire said interest and curiosity visible on her face.

 "Wow.... This was definitely worth it"

Christy pulled out the bag of popcorn she bought from the canteen earlier that afternoon.

 "He... He said he wasn't prepared the last time I kissed him, that..."

 "Wow!"

Claire shouted.

 "Wait... Let her finish talking" Kamsy said sweetly

I exhaled again and finished the story.

 "But seriously, the way he was smiling at me. I was scared. I thought the ground would open and swallow me"

 "Hmm... This our hot DSP"

Claire squealed.

I sighed lightly

"Olivia, I forgot to tell you... Another group of SS2s came looking for you "

Christy quipped while eating her popcorn.

 "Are you serious?"

"You better run; Senior Stephanie, Senior Jane, and Senior Christabel were there. And Senior Stephanie loves Senior Henry, who doesn't know that"

"I'm done for "

I said looking very frustrated. What did I put myself into?

 "But obviously, Senior Henry will not let them bully you ". Kamsy said

Did she think this was America... Where the hot boy keeps showing up in every dangerous scene for his naive love.

I wanted to tell her one thing

I started kicking my legs in the air like a frustrated hen about to be slaughtered.

I threw myself back to lie on the bed. My friends were just staring at me puzzled,

 "Babe calm down....." Claire smirked. "...At least you have a hot guy at your fingertips" she added

 "And speaking of hot guys, I met one today..."
