The Price of Ignorance

Is it better to look up or look down? Throughout human history, that is the main philosophical debate. If you look down you can do but you can't dream. If you look up you can dream but you can't do. Is it better to waste your life in the dirt or on the clouds? I thought neither, so I tried to stand on the clouds, fooled by their vainglory, only to fall back to something I didn't understand.
