Chapter 13

** Celestial Shocks and Dinner Dates**

**Athena's Point of View**

The Council Chamber is buzzing with activity as celestial beings from various realms argue animatedly. I'm seated at the back, trying to make sense of the chaos. Taye had escorted me here and then, with a comforting pat on the back, left me to fend for myself. The council members, a mix of angels, spirits, and various ethereal entities, seem to be having a heated debate over... well, something that seems way too complex for my mortal brain to comprehend.

I catch snippets of conversation:

"—and if the soul is in a state of transition, shouldn't it be monitored?"

"—but what if it's a special case?"

"—Petorth's decrees are not to be ignored!"

And on and on it goes. I sit there, trying to look attentive while my mind drifts. It's like watching a cosmic soap opera where I'm not entirely sure if I'm the guest star or the accidental audience.
