2. How Can She Hate Him?

"Noah, what...what is happening? What is going on? Why...why is mother having my...my things moved? And to where?"

Slap!!!

Nora added more slaps on Sienna's already pinkish cheeks. The impact caused her to lose her balance and fall on her ass.

"Don't let me hear my son's name coming out of your mouth, you witch, and stop calling me mother. I am not your mother! Do not call me your mother. Do I look like that constantly on the move, loose whore who gave birth to you? Just sign the house papers and leave."

Nora snatched the brown envelope from Faiza's hand, which Sienna hadn't noticed that she even was holding earlier.

She got off the floor and said, looking straight into her fiancé's eyes. "I'll sign no such thing, Noah. This is also my house! We both paid for everything. The mortgage, the utilities, and its maintenance. Everything!

She then turned to the omega standing beside her fiance and said, "Humph! If you were hoping that I'd just let you take my man and stuff, then sorry to burst your bubble.

She then turned to step out of the house, but two large alpha males came and held her back.

"You're not leaving this place without signing the papers." Faiza stated. She pulled out the deeds to the house and added a pen to it.

"Hahaha... fine. Then we'll all stay together in this house. This must be you and mother's plan to break us apart, but it will not work. If you think that I'll be afraid of these bullies, then you lie bad."

Nora removed her flipflop and hit Sienna with it while raining insults on her. "You this witch, so you'll continue to drag my son down with you, right? How scornful can you be? Don't you want him to be happy with a better woman? Huh?"

Noah held his mom's hand to stop her from hitting his fiancée. "Mother, Faiza, both of you should leave; let me have a talk with my woman. Alone!"

Faiza's was unhappy with him still addressing Sienna as his woman. Noah has never acknowledged her as his anything despite all her efforts, yet he calls that barren lady his "woman."

Noah then told the two men to let go of his Sienna.

"She's carrying my seed, Sienna." Noah said in a low, solemn tone of voice, once they were left alone on the porch. He looked as if he were genuinely sorry to his fiancée.

"And I don't want her to have my child out of wedlock. You know how this society treats children like that. You and I are both victims of such. You know what we had to go through, and I don't want that for my child. Please."

"Ha!" Sienna let out a short laugh. "Noah, that baby isn't baby Jesus, so how long have the two of you been doing this behind my back? And who is she actually? Because I doubt that she is your cousin, as you claim."

Noah had his head bent down; he couldn't even look at his fiancé in the eye. "She's my boss."

Noah's answer shocked her. She instantly felt very small by virtue of the other lady's statue.

"What?! Your boss?! Wait, Noah. You have the highest position that the company allows for outsiders to hold. Anyone that's above you is definitely an O'Dwyer. Are you telling that you cheated on me with someone from that family? How? Noah! How could you lie to me this much? Is it because she's of a better class?"

"No Sienna, calm down."

"You brought your boss to our home and introduced her to me as your cousin and she too played the part; you made me cook and attend to her because I indeed believed it. How will I have even doubted your word?! Now, I guess I'm the fool, right?"

"Calm down, Sienna; it was only one time, and it's been like six weeks now since that happened. Around your last two business trips.

She went into an unexpected heat one late night at work while I was also doing an overtime. Things spiralled from then on, and I ended up sleeping with her. I'm very sorry, my love."

Sienna felt her world crushing down. "Don't call me that!" She shouted at him. She wasn't taking the news very well, just as Noah had already imagined.

He moved closer and hugged his childhood sweatheart to his chest while rubbing her back like he usually does whenever she was like this. "Shhh. I'm sorry. I really am." He said in a hushed voice, trying to help her calm down.

Sienna couldn't help but cry while hitting her fiancé's chest. How can she hate him when he is still sweet to her like this? "You...you've broken my heart, Noah. This...this is not what you promised."

"I know." Noah responded as he tried not to also breakdown in tears, lest that should give his lover any false hope that he still loves her very dearly, which is very much the truth.

"Tell me Noah, is this why mother refused for us to get married until I take seed? Is the child issue the cause of all this?"

He broke the hug and forced himself to utter the bitter words. "It's already in the past now, Sienna. Please just sign the papers, and let's end our time together on a good note. If not for me, then at least for the sake of the baby. Hm? You would not want an innocent child to suffer like we did, right?"

He handed the papers to his fiancée, which Sienna reluctantly took. Hearing her childhood sweetheart say these words hits her heart to the core.

She knows that Noah's mother stopped liking her a long time ago due to her infertility issues, but Noah has been her support all this while. Now hearing him say this made her feel that she has finally lost against the world, completely.

But what her fiancé said is right; the baby is innocent. No need to subject it to the harsh realities that the two of them had to face because they too are also lovechildren.

So eventually, Sienna sighed the papers and gave them back to her fiancé.

"Can I hug you one last time? Please?" Noah asked.

Sienna sighed and nodded in defeat as she and her fiance hugged for the last time as an engaged couple. Both shedding silent tears within.

Their relationship goes beyond just being lovers. They've been each other's world since childhood.

Noah held her head and kissed her on the forehead before asking. "So now where would you go? Your father's?"

Sienna was dumbfounded at his weird question. She pulled back from him and replied, "I don't know, Noah. I don't know. Maybe you should've asked your mother before she called the movers."

Noah bent his head low like a child being scolded. "I'm sorry, Sienna. But do call me in case of anything, okay? I'll like to keep in touch and return your part of the mortgage paid."

"No, don't, Noah. Let's keep our distance from now on. I need time and space to process all this for now. And don't return any money to me, let that be my gift to your unborn child. Please." And with that, Sienna turned and joined the movers as they left her home together.

The very home that she and her now ex-fiancé had bought together with their sweats and tears, now about to have a new madam of the house.

Noah looked at his ex-lover's retreating back and released a heavy sigh before going into their living room.

*

"Is she finally gone? Has she signed the deeds?" Faiza asked with curiosity as soon as Noah came in, but he ignored her.

"Did she sign the papers, son?" Nora also asked.

Noah handed the envelope to her and said to both of them. "You've gotten what you wanted. Now can you two leave me alone?" He pushed Faiza out of the way and went into the bedroom that he used to share with his now ex-fiancée.

"Darling, I'm doing all this for your own sake. You will thank me someday." Nora shouted after her son. She could tell that he was very pissed and unhappy with everything that was happening, but she just didn't care.

Her son becoming the Alpha's heir is the most important thing to her right now, and she wouldn't allow anything to jeopardise her plans now, although she is yet to inform him about his father's plans to have him move back home.

She then turned to Faiza and smiled, "Don't mind him, my dear. Now that that girl is gone, he'll start to love you too. Just be patient and work your feminine magic on him. Who wouldn't like a good high class woman like you? I just can't wait to have you as my daughter-in-law and to welcome the little angel in your belly too."

Faiza's happy mood turned sour at Nora's last statement, as she thought to herself, 'Your son is not my end-game woman. He's just the bait to secure my main target, Ryan McDermott.'

She turned to looked at Nora with a fake smile plastered on her face, "Yes, mother."
