The Queen of The Forest

I don't own fallout

I am the Queen of the Forest. I rule my territory with hard teeth and strong of will.

I, Who slew the King of the Wild with my teeth to his neck.

I, Who stayed to face the fur men who bite and hunt us to feed their master.

I, Who saw the White Queen fall to hordes of enemies protecting her pup. And returned to tell the tale to the King of the Wild for his lies and cowardice long before I slew him for his title!

I will not run. I will NOT hide! I will stand to defend our ancient lands as my pack runs like cowards. I will face the War God and he will fall to my fangs! I will-

"Hi! I'm Raid!"

The large black as pitch northern wolf turned to notice the equally large and goofily smiling Raid, his long tongue hanging from his mouth as he sat in the snow watching her. His fur wad a perfect match for the cold frozen water. She stared at him with forest green eyes for a moment.

"I… do not know you. Who is your pack leader?"

"My Big Bro." he said, still smiling. "You smell good!" She stared at him some more as he began to sniff around her, "Can I smell you?"

"....No."

"Aw.…" he whined, his ears dropping. He then looked around, "What are you doing? It's boring around here."

"I am waiting for the War God… I will slay him." She replied, staring ahead majestically as Raid pondered what the word 'majestically' could mean.

"Oh… who dat?" she stared at him coldly.

"…Are you an imbecile?"

"No, I'm Raid." He said grinning happily. She snorted in annoyance.

"…The War God is a solitary beast. It has intruded upon our territory. I will kill it and set myself as Alpha of a new pack. A proud Pack! A-"

"Where's your pack now?" he asked, looking around as if expecting them to suddenly appear.

"They have run rather than defend their territory. They'd Rather flee before the War God rather than sink their teeth into him. I am prouder than that. I. Who learned to hunt and kill from the greatest of us. The White Queen. I. Who followed her every step while her mate lazed about! I who-"

"Neat. Can I help you eat him?" he asked.

"Will you let me finish?!" she growled at him, her cute hackles rising. "Where is your pack then!? Or are you a wanderer seeking the security of a proper pack?"

"Nah I got my Big Bro, we're good." He said casually, shimmying as if wet. Before grinning at her again, "Hey! You should join our pack! My Big Bro loves us! He's nice! And fun! And he loves me! And we eat bad people!"

"I will do no such thing…" she said proudly, "…Honestly, were you hit in the head a lot as a whelp?"

He tilted his head, cutely, and frowned. Seemingly thinking on her words… "…I don't think so…" he said slowly. Shaking of snow again. She snorted and turned away from him. Ignoring him. And hoping that he went away.

"So who are you?" he said cheerfully, she glared at him.

"…I am the Queen of the Forest."

"Neat! Hi! I'm Raid."

"Yes. I know." she replied flatly… then her ears twitched, and her hackles went up. "He is here." She snarled softly, getting to her paws. Preparing to charge, slaying the War God… a tree was felled as its powerful muscles smashed it out of the way, it roared into the night. The Great Yao Gui. The War God, champion of many battles. Slayer of the North. He who faced the White Queen and wounded her to be later felled dishonorably protecting her pup. Taking the War God's eye.

He spotted her, and she charged. "FACE ME WAR GOD!!" she snapped, her fangs sinking into his neck as it shook her off, its great paws smashing into the snow as she bobbed and weaved, yipping bravely at its flesh… but its fur was thick. Its muscles were strong. And his claws were sharp… it stood on its rear legs, roaring at her angrily before crashing forward, smashing a great paw alongside her before sweeping with the other, it smashed painfully into her side as she yelped. Rolling in the snow as it rose again to crush her

"HEY!!" she slowly got to her unsteady paws as the idiot suddenly charged the Yao Gui. "I! AM! BEST!!" he roared, leaping towards the War God. His teeth sunk into its neck, then he slid under it… his teeth raking across the throat of the War God before it even knew what was happening… thick blood stained the snow, gushing buckets full of the thick red life liquid as it stumbled around confused. Raid, his jaw bloody and snarling at the dying creature barked angrily. "Treat bitches NICE!!!" he declared…

The War God blinked… and fell… dead in the snow as it stained red with it's warm blood.

After a long moment of silence, the Queen of the Forest slowly getting to her paws, stared at the corpse of the War God... felled in one glorious bite. "…I cannot believe that just happened…" the Queen of the Forest breathed in shock, staring at the white wolf in awe. "…I REALLY can not believe that just happened…"

Raid sat down, grinned at her stupidly, and smiled. "Hi! I'm Raid!"

She stared back; her jaw slightly opened. "I… know…" she said, far less condescendingly than she had earlier. "…How did you slay the War God like that?" she breathed in awed amazment.

"My Big Bro taught me… I love him." He smiled as she blinked at the odd white wolf. "He says to go for throats…"

"And… where is your… Big Bro?" she asked, curiously.

"Over there. With Jack. And Smokey Lady…" she stared at him. None of this was helping. "I smelled you!" he sniffed her, thoughtfully. "…You smell good."

"…Thank you." She mumbled, STILL in shock.

"Raid! There you are!" The Big Lady appeared, grinning at the two wolves. "And you found a friend!" she said cheerily, but her hand rested cautiously on her big metal stick.

"Is that your Big Bro?"

"No. That's Big Lady. She's nice… she gives great belly rubs."

"…What's a belly rub?

"Come! Swat is waiting for us!" The Big Lady grinned, scratching the Raid behind the ear as his leg thumped happily.

"Ooohoo yeah… that's the good stuff…" he grinned. The Big Lady turned and went back the way she came, Raid turned to the Queen of the Forest and grinned. "Are you coming?!" he asked excitedly.

The Queen of the Forest seemed to think thoughtfully on the matter… got up, and sniffed Raid. "…I believe I will."

"Neat! I'll introduce you to Big Bro!... Fair warning though he'll probably call you something weird… he does that when he doesn't know our names. He never listens." And side by side, the great Northern Wolves walked on…

And ran quickly when they heard Noisemakers…
