CHAPTER 42

Who would've thought that one summer, Grace gave Rosemary this ring to go find him, asking him to teach her a thing or two?

He was a business whiz with loads of badass friends.

For Grace, Alberto stayed single all his life. He treated Rosemary like his own granddaughter, teaching her the ropes of business. His buddies also gave Rosemary a few pointers in medicine, and a few who were good at music, chess, and painting also took a real shine to Rosemary, passing on their life's wisdom.

Rosemary didn't disappoint; she learned everything they taught her.

One could say Rosemary spent all her summer and winter holidays with this bunch of old geezers.

Where she was today was all thanks to these old boys going all out to teach her!

"When are you graduating? You should start helping your grandpa out!" Alberto felt his age: "I don't have any children or grandchildren; you're my only heir."
