Rosemary and he snapped loads of pictures until the merry–go–round came to a halt and Romeo dismounted, leading her off by the hand. "What do you want to do next?"
Rosemary found the amusement park games too basic and pulled out the map to look for something more exciting, like roller coasters.
"Are you afraid of heights?" Rosemary asked the man in front of her.
"The only thing I'm scared of is you." Romeo looked at her and said, word by word, "I'm scared you won't like me, that you'll leave me. I'm not scared of anything else."
Rosemary was a little taken aback by his confession and just walked ahead.
Romeo kept pace with her and took her hand. "Rosemary, are you afraid of heights?"
If she was, they could switch to another game.
Rosemary smiled, thinking, "Of course I'm not scared."
"Please fasten your seatbelts," the staff reminded everyone nearby. "Safety first!"
