The Devastation Of The Party

Listening to the words," You are not the hero!! " sent Idris into a blind rage. He dashed towards the demon, conjuring two spears in each hand. 

"I will show you, if who I am!!!", he screamed.

He tried slashing the demon, the attack even sending shockwaves around, but the demon was quick. He swiftly jumped upwards. Seeing this, Idris threw one of the spears towards him, but then the demon conjured a sword out of his mouth. First, it was some black blood coming out of his mouth, and then it turned into a black sword. 

It was a large clash, causing a loud booming noise across the mineshaft. 

"Good, finally you are using higher-grade weapons", said the demon. The sword in his hand was also broken, but the black blood coming out of his mouth slowly flowed across his arm towards the sword, quickly healing it.

"This will take some time", said Livia as she was covered in mana, Scarlett was using enhancement magic, she drew her bow making five green arrows to appear. They flew with great speed towards the demon, and he could evade most but one hit him. Small vines started appearing, they covered him making moving hard and that was when Idris released his other spear it flew straight towards him, and though he tried to get away but it flew straight from him. 

The right side of his chest was completely gone but still, he smiled," good thing my heart is alright, though it will take a few days to regenerate from such an attack from a hero."

They all stood in front of each other, on one side Idris and his party and on the other the injured demon. By all this, even Idris was huffing for some air.

"You shouldn't attack like this without a plan you know", said the demon taunting Idris.

"Anyway won't you ask me why I was doing all these evil deeds or try to bring me to the side of good, like any other hero in your stories?".

"You are evil scum, which it is my job to get rid of, nothing less, nothing more", answered Idris, his eyes showing his rage." once I break you into small bits of flesh, then, you will know who is the hero and who is not!!."

"Ouch!!", answered back the demon, still not scared by all the threats.

"But still I really wanna tell you, so here it goes. You know what I love the most about humans, the faces they make when they are scared, when they have nowhere to go, when they feel disgusted by themselves and when they have lost their passion for life. Just like your faces were when I first appeared.", saying this he started laughing.

"Have you looked around you, how do you like this decoration", he said pointing towards the skulls around him," I can't even tell you how fulfilling it is when these people who love their kids have to give their kids to me, fully knowing what will happen."

This made Scarlett want to puke.

"Shut it right now", said Livia and again started releasing a barrage of arrows on the demon, but he was easily evading them, and in between this he continued.

"The screams of the children are exhilarating, this place is good for it too, the screams of the children echoed all around the region, even the parents could hear them. Magnificent won't you say!!".

Hearing this Idris's face now showed a look of disgust at the place of anger and then he spoke," For how long have you been here?".

"two years or so", the demon answered.

"And how many of those innocent children have you killed?", he asked even unable to say it properly due to the sheer disgust he was feeling.

"About twenty maybe", said the demon in an amused manner, as if it was a plain simple joke for him.

Listening to this, Idris looked at him with sheer hate in his eyes. The whole area was covered in a thick golden mana, it all was being released by Idris. He started manifesting multiple of his spears, and seeing this even Scarlett and Livia got ready for round two.

"I will take revenge for those kids, for each one. Those innocent kids who became your victims, they did nothing wrong, how could you?!!!!", he screamed.

The demon also got ready," in life, there are not many things you have to do wrong, to get wronged by it", he answered back.

Livia started the assault by shooting multiple arrows towards the demon, which he easily was able to evade like before but once they hit the ground, they started producing vines around him. That is when he noticed, those were the green arrows and they again got a hold of him.

"That was clever", the demon remarked.

But quickly he started slashing them, but before he was done. Idris moved in quickly this time aiming for his heart to end him once and for all but then, the demon grabbed the spear in his hand. Quickly idris called onto his other spear and used it to again hit him but till now he used his sword to stop it. In terms of sheer strength, the demon had an advantage and he started to back Idris.

"Dammit!!!", he exclaimed.

Then, he let loose of his other spare calling on one more and using it to attack but now the demon used his spear and stabbed him in his right shoulder, throwing him away. And then he let go of the spear, his hand burnt by just holding the spear.

"These spears of yours are quite a hassle", he remarked.

By now Idris had fallen a little behind, his hand was bleeding profusely. Scarlett came running towards him, using her bracelet to heal him while Livia protected them, shooting as many arrows as she could, keeping the demon busy, so it may take time for him to get out of vines. 

"You are quite a problem aren't you!!", said the demon finally out of the vines being hit by freezing arrows," trying to seal me in ice", and then he started laughing. 

By now Idris was back in the fight, and he charged right back in," Scarlett, give me a boost", he said.

Scarlett moved quickly, he placed her hand on Idris and now even more mana was flowing through him. For a second even the demon got scared and lost his focus. Seeing this Livia launched even more of her arrows capturing him in even more ice. And then, suddenly the Aura disappeared as a black spear appeared sucking it all in.

"Now go to hell!!", said Idris. Launching the spear it went right through the demon, all large explosions appeared and it went shooting right out of the icy roof leaving a hole in its place.

Seeing this finally, Idris gave off a smile, Livia who had been on her limit fell down on the ground and even Scarett also started smiling.

"Finally!!!", she screamed.

"Thanks for the boost, hero", came a sound, that sent them all in panic.

The demon was back. Before they could react, he was behind them holding Scarlett by her hand. His hole in the chest properly healed. He lifted her up in the air.

"Scar!!", shouted Idris as he tried to attack but was too slow.

"How, how can you be back", Livia asked.

"It is thanks to your blonde friend", he answered pointing towards Idris," that black spear of yours was quite full of negative mana. I just absorbed it all, and now I'm better than ever", he answered.

Then he looked towards Scarlett as she tried to free her hand, the hand that had the bracelet, then he spoke," You are quite a troublemaker aren't you. This bracelet of yours is too powerful", with that he started squeezing her hand, she cried horribly in pain, Idris was trying everything to save her but before anything could work, he hand under all this stress detached from her body, leaving her falling on the ground.

Idris ran getting a hold of her before she fell.

"Now, let's start your torture shall we", said the demon with a wicked smile.
