Chapter 13: The Shinobi Level in the Ninja World

Losing just a little chakra almost cost Aoki his life. Aoki's determination and will to survive and grow in this dangerous world became even stronger.

However, there was one fact that Aoki was unaware of: he was very lucky that night. If only Aoki had talked more with Minato and Kushina, he might now be under the strict supervision of Hiruzen and Danzo.

Fortunately, the conversation between Aoki, Minato, and Kushina was not overheard by Anbu or Root, so they did not report anything related to Aoki, including his efforts to study Natural Energy.

(Morning)

Aoki Sora woke up quickly, his eyes fixed on the wall clock.

"It's already four o'clock? Time to warm up," Aoki murmured, his voice full of determination.

Aoki got out of bed and headed to the kitchen to wash his face. The cold water touched his skin, sweeping away the remnants of sleep. After brushing his teeth and feeling refreshed, Aoki stepped outside. The cold morning air greeted him, giving him a new spirit to start the day.

Without wasting any time, Aoki began his training routine. Push-ups, sit-ups, and squat jumps, each done a hundred times. After that, Aoki ran ten kilometers, traversing the quiet streets of the village.

Even though he had just narrowly escaped death the night before, Aoki felt more energized after a good night's sleep. There was a kind of awakening within him, as if the pain and fatigue from previous days had vanished.

Since the death of his parents, Aoki has followed this routine every morning without fail. Aoki knew that with a strong body, he could continue forging weapons, a job that had once been done by his father.

The work of hammering iron into shape, forming it into a sword or other weapons, was Aoki's way of remembering his father and preserving the family legacy.

After a tiring physical workout, Aoki returned home. He opened the wooden cabinet and took out his father's katana.

The sword, made of about 30 percent Chakra Metal, was the most valuable heirloom of his family. His father had loved that sword, and now, it had become part of Aoki's daily training.

Aoki stood in a solid kendo stance and began to swing his sword. A hundred swings, executed with strength and precision.

Each swing reflected Aoki's dedication and determination to become stronger. Although he had only reached a physical level equivalent to that of a Low Genin, Aoki had a different perspective on the strength levels of ninjas.

In Aoki's view, Ninja ranks should be more detailed. From the weakest to the strongest, he classified them as Low Genin, Mid Genin, High Genin, Low Chunin, Mid Chunin, High Chunin, Tokubetsu Jonin, Low Jonin, Mid Jonin, High Jonin, Elite Jonin, Quasi Kage, Low Kage, Mid Kage, and High Kage.

Then there was the highest level, which was the God Level. However, that was for another time, as Aoki would not be able to reach it anytime soon. For Aoki, this classification better reflected the reality of a ninja's strength than the existing ranking system.

Of course, the Ninja Academy did not fall into this category, as the students of the Ninja Academy had not yet become true ninjas. However, even the most trained Ninja Academy students could be equivalent to a Low Genin, or perhaps even weaker.

That was why Aoki decided to create his own ranking system. According to Aoki, this system was much more comprehensive and accurate in assessing the differences in strength levels between individuals. For Aoki, the ranking system he created was not just about measuring strength, but also about understanding the potential hidden behind each level.

After finishing his sword-swinging practice, Aoki then returned inside the house. His stomach began to growl, but before thinking of himself, Aoki remembered Kuroshiro.
