Chapter 16: Giving Obito Advice

Aoki stopped and turned around. "Me? Aoki Sora," Aoki replied with a slight smile. "The one who will become the Strongest Sword Master in the Ninja world... no, perhaps in the universe?" The last sentence was spoken in a quieter voice, almost like a mumble.

"What?" Obito asked, confused because he didn't hear the last part.

"Ah, nothing," Aoki quickly replied, hiding his earlier mumble. "So, who are you?"

Obito smiled proudly, feeling he had the chance to introduce himself. "Me? My name is Obito Uchiha, someone who will become the future Hokage!"

Aoki nodded, but in his mind, he felt sad. 'Well, too bad for you, Obito, it seems that what you desire won't come true,' Aoki thought, aware of Obito's tragic fate in the future.

"Oh, I see," Aoki said with a wise tone. "In that case, you should listen to my advice, Obito Uchiha. It's important."

Obito listened attentively as Aoki continued, "Someone who abandons a mission in this world is called trash, but someone who abandons their own friend is worse than trash!"

Aoki paused for a moment to ensure his words were understood, then continued in a more serious tone, "Open your eyes, Obito. Seeing is not just with your eyes, but also with your hearing, your sense of smell, your touch, and..." Aoki pointed to Obito's chest.

"Chest?" Obito asked, confused by Aoki's direction.

"No, you fool!" Aoki frowned, slightly annoyed. "I mean the heart! Seeing through the heart!"

Obito finally nodded, just understanding Aoki's meaning. "Oh, you should have just said that from the start."

Aoki sighed, then smiled faintly. "Haah, you really are foolish, Obito. I'm going now. Ciao~" he said while waving his hand and starting to walk away.

"Wait!" Obito suddenly called out again. "Are you going to the Ninja Academy too?"

Aoki could only smile wryly upon hearing that comment. Instead of answering, he decided to walk away, his hand raised, waving in a pose that Aoki thought was cool.

'Damn, I've always wanted to do this pose,' Aoki thought proudly, a small smile on his face. 'Haha… amazing, I look so cool and handsome!'

Obito, watching Aoki leave, furrowed his brow, clearly confused. "Why didn't Aoki answer and just wave his hand like that? Is Aoki greeting someone over there?" Obito mumbled, completely puzzled. As someone who was a bit foolish, Obito certainly didn't understand the meaning behind that pose, but one thing he knew for sure— the pose looked really cool.

A little while later, Aoki was on his way home, still feeling satisfied after successfully helping one of the important characters in the village. Once he arrived home, Aoki immediately prepared dinner, not just for himself, but also for Kuroshiro. This time, Aoki added two extra portions, just like breakfast that morning, complete with four fish, as a special side dish for Kuroshiro.

"Here you go, Master Kuroshiro," Aoki said while handing two plates of food to the little creature.

Kuroshiro, who had just woken up from a deep sleep, yawed widely before responding. "Ah, it seems it's time to eat," he said lazily, but his eyes sparkled upon seeing the dishes in front of him.

They ate together in a comfortable silence. After finishing, Aoki immediately continued his training to absorb Natural Energy, a ritual that had become part of his routine.

Meanwhile, Kuroshiro was still busy devouring the remnants of his meal, but his swaying tail showed that he was watching Aoki with keen interest from the corner of his eye.

"Hm... this kid is very determined to learn Natural Energy and Senjutsu," Kuroshiro murmured softly, his sharp eyes observing Aoki as he trained. "I think, if Aoki manages to absorb the necessary Natural Energy, I will train him in Senjutsu Mode—better known as Sage Mode."
