The slash was enough to shatter the earth's restraints, and the masked man leaped backward, but the water sphere had already reached its full power.
A tremendous explosion shook the air, striking the masked man with a powerful wave. His body was thrown forcefully, crashing into a tree trunk, and wooden splinters flew in all directions.
Breathing heavily, the masked man got up, but the next attack came without pause. "Katon no Jutsu: Subayai Honō no Tori (Fire Jutsu: Swift Fire Bird)!" another enemy shouted.
A flock of firebirds formed from blazing tongues of flame. They shot forward at incredible speed, flapping their fiery wings toward the masked man. The masked man's eyes narrowed, quickly reading the trajectory of the attack.
He then jumped upwards, using a tree branch as a foothold, his body spinning gracefully in mid-air. The firebirds struck the surrounding tree trunks, creating small explosions that scattered sparks in all directions.
However, the final attack came with much greater force. "Suiton no Jutsu: Kaiten-suru Mizu no Enban (Water Jutsu: Rotating Water Disc)!" one of the enemies yelled.
A large disc formed from water, spinning at a terrifying speed. Its sharp whistling could be heard, cutting through the air like a giant blade.
The disc shot forward, demolishing the tree trunks in its path. The masked man jumped again, leaping from one tree to another with agility that seemed almost impossible for an ordinary human.
The trees around him fell one by one, but the masked man kept moving, dodging the deadly water disc. Despite the situation, the masked man remained calm, though beads of cold sweat began to form on his temples. Every movement seemed calculated, like a dancer in the middle of a dangerous battlefield.

Kurisu and her surviving subordinates ran nonstop toward the Hell Valley. Their breaths were heavy, and panic still shadowed every step they took.
"Boss, who is that masked man?" one of the women asked, her voice filled with curiosity, trying to divert attention from the tension.
Kurisu glanced briefly, her eyes betraying a rare hint of concern. "I don't know. But thanks to him, we managed to escape their pursuit. We can't let his sacrifice be in vain," Kurisu replied firmly, though her mind continued to race with possibilities about who the masked man might be.
Though Kurisu was known for her cold demeanor and rare concern for others, she couldn't ignore someone who had helped her. The masked man had clearly risked his life, and Kurisu felt the weight of responsibility for her group's safety growing heavier.
"But Boss! They're still chasing us!" another woman shouted, glancing back. In the distance, the silhouettes of their pursuers were still clearly visible, closing in.
Kurisu clenched her fist, trying to calm herself. "I know. That's why we must reach the Hell Valley as soon as possible. With the terrain there, they won't be able to catch us!" Kurisu said with a firm tone, rallying her group's spirits.
"Understood, Boss!" The women replied in unison, though exhaustion and fear were evident on their faces.
After running for what felt like an eternity, they finally arrived at the edge of the Hell Valley. The place appeared grim and menacing, with steep cliffs and narrow paths that were nearly impossible to traverse. Their pursuers seemed to struggle with navigating the treacherous terrain, giving Kurisu and her group a brief moment to catch their breath.
However, a new problem arose as they approached an area enveloped in thick fog. The fog was so dense that their vision was limited to only a few steps ahead. Each step felt like walking on uncertain ground, and the sound of their footsteps echoed in the cold, damp air.
"Boss, we can't keep going like this. The fog is too thick!" one of the women said, her voice trembling between exhaustion and fear.
