Chapter 142: Aoki Injured

"Fūton no Jutsu: Itsutsu no Kaze no Yari!"

Five razor-sharp spears made of rapidly spinning wind surged toward Aoki with lethal speed, ready to pierce through anything in their path. 

"Doton no Jutsu: Chi wo Hasamu Hōkai!"

 (Earth Style: Crushing Earth Collapse) 

The ground beneath Aoki's feet suddenly cracked, as if it had come alive. Chunks of earth lifted and moved with terrifying speed, aiming to crush Aoki within their devastating grip. 

"Suiton no Jutsu: Sō Kaiten Dan!" (Water Style: Twin Rotating Bullets) 

Two high-speed spinning water bullets shot toward Aoki, resembling projectiles that were almost impossible to dodge. 

"Raiton no Jutsu: Denki no Hadō!" (Lightning Style: Electric Wave) 

An electric wave emerged from the air, streaking in every direction with blinding speed, homing in on Aoki trapped amidst the onslaught. 

"Raiton no Jutsu: Kaminari no Bakuhatsu!" (Lightning Style: Thunder Explosion) 

A thunderous explosion shook the ground around Aoki, breaking the silence with a brilliant, blinding flash of light. 

"Doton no Jutsu: Kaiten Suru Tsuchi!" (Earth Style: Spinning Hammer) 

The earth cracked again, this time forming a massive hammer that spun with immense power, barreling toward Aoki at a speed that could shatter anything in its path. 

"Raiton no Jutsu: Kaminari no Kaku!" (Lightning Style: Thunderclap Claw) 

A colossal lightning claw materialized in the air, slashing forward like a storm, poised to destroy everything in its trajectory. 

Aoki felt the unrelenting waves of attacks closing in. With extraordinary composure, he spun and darted, his body weaving gracefully to evade the deadly strikes that came perilously close to hitting him. 

He sprinted swiftly, using the massive trees as cover, leaping across branches and hiding within thick foliage. 

Aoki leapt nimbly to avoid blazing torrents of fire, then twisted his body midair to sidestep the spinning wind blades. 

Using the trunks of the ancient trees as shields against the water barrages, he vaulted between branches to evade the falling chunks of earth, while strategically employing large rocks as temporary barriers. 

However, a devastating explosion from the fractured ground struck a nearby boulder, sending Aoki hurtling into the air. His body crashed hard against a towering tree with a resounding impact, before collapsing onto the forest floor. Blood trickled from the corner of his lips. 

"Ak...kh..." Aoki groaned, his body trembling. His vision blurred, and the light in his eyes began to fade as pain coursed through his entire body. 

His breaths were labored, heavy and erratic. Hell's Valley lay only a few meters ahead, but each step toward it felt like an insurmountable challenge. 

The natural energy Aoki had been channeling relentlessly now weighed heavily on his body, draining his strength and leaving him in an almost unbearable state of exhaustion. 

Eight of Aoki's pursuers finally halted, standing just a short distance away. They stared at him with unbridled hatred, their murderous intent so palpable it made the air around them oppressive. 

Aoki managed a faint smile, weak but defiant. His breathing was ragged, and he knew that if he pushed himself any further, his body would give out completely. 

"Heh... You really want me dead, don't you..." Aoki muttered, his voice hoarse yet laced with a mocking tone. 

"Bastard! Of course, we want you dead!" one of the pursuers shouted, her voice dripping with fury. 

"I'll make sure you die!" another bellowed, his fists clenched in barely contained rage. 

"We'll avenge our comrades!" another voice echoed, filled with venomous hatred. 

"You'll die a miserable death!" added a burly man, his tone cold and unyielding.
