"Damn it!" He attempted the [Total Assimilation] several times, but like before, it was to no avail.

But the ball of energy could erase him from existence, the ground trembled with a deeper power. A presence, ancient and unfathomable, coiled around the very air itself.

Almost immediately, the ball of energy was caught in a giant orb of blue energy with symbols and numbers spiralling around it.

"W-what?" Rentaro uttered, momentarily stunned as he had no idea what it was.

"What the hell!?" Xerxes exclaimed as he knew exactly what this was, after all he has had several encounters with in the past.

"Now now, I can't let you destroy this place now can I, Xerxes." A voice spoke from above, prompting all eyes to glance upon the figure towering above them.

"I-It can't be.." Silver mumbled, he was surprised but also a bit relieved at the same time.
