Draco and the trio leaped from rooftop to rooftop, their movements swift and precise as chaos consumed Dock 5 below. After Buggy's earlier outburst at Oden, they paused atop a tall building, catching their breath. Draco turned to Enel, his tone firm and commanding.
"Locate Taylor. Your Observation Haki should be enough," Draco ordered.
Enel's lips curled into a smug grin, clearly savoring the thought of the hunt. "Yes, sir," he replied, raising a hand. Closing his eyes briefly, he focused, the faint crackle of electricity surrounding him. Not even a second later, his eyes snapped open.
"Found him."
Shanks and Buggy leaned forward, wide-eyed. "What?! Where?!" they exclaimed in unison.
"That bastard," Enel said, pointing toward the distant port, "he's on a ship far away."
Without hesitation, the group moved to the highest vantage point in Dock 5, a towering building overlooking the bustling port. From the rooftop, Enel's sharp gaze locked onto the ship in question. His expression darkened, and his fingers twitched with electrical energy.
"-That bastard… is smirking," Enel growled through gritted teeth.
With a raised hand, electricity surged violently around him.
{El Thor}
he declared, a wicked grin forming as dark clouds gathered ominously above Water 7. In mere moments, the heavens roared with thunder, and a massive lightning beam descended with terrifying speed, obliterating Taylor's ship in an explosion of fire and splintered wood.
From their perch, Draco and the trio watched the destruction unfold. The sheer force of the attack left even Shanks and Buggy speechless, their mouths hanging open.
"What the...!" Shanks stammered.
"When did Enel get that kind of power?!" Buggy added, eyes wide with disbelief.
Draco, however, remained calm, his eyes scanning the destruction below. Focusing his Observation on Haki, he tracked Taylor's presence amidst the destruction.
"Still alive," Draco muttered, his gaze unwavering.
He turned to Enel, now slumped on the ground, visibly exhausted from unleashing such a powerful attack. Sparks of electricity flickered weakly around him, a stark contrast to the overwhelming force he had just displayed.
It was clear that this Enel was far from the counterpart who, decades later, would wield such power effortlessly on Sky Island.
Draco sighed, his tone commanding. "Let's move. There's no time to waste."
[Rayleigh and Scopper]
We return to Rayleigh and Scopper locked in combat with Mace's ever-growing army of clones. With swift precision, Rayleigh sliced through two of the clones, their paper-like bodies shredding easily under his blade. But before he could catch his breath, Mace unleashed another wave of duplicates, each one grinning maniacally.
"HAHAHA!" Mace cackled from a distance, his arms outstretched. The clones multiplied rapidly, their numbers swelling.
Rayleigh's expression remained calm, but his eyes narrowed. "What a troublesome Devil Fruit," he muttered, cutting down another wave of clones advancing toward him.
Taking a brief moment to survey the battlefield, Rayleigh's sharp Observation Haki picked up on the battlefield. The rooftops around them were lined with Marines, rifles trained and ready to fire the moment he or Scopper faltered. Meanwhile, over three hundred of Mace's clones swarmed the area, their movements relentless.
"Damn! There's too many of them!" Scopper growled, gripping his twin axes tightly. His aura shifted as he activated his Haki, the air around him growing heavy with intimidation. The copper glow of his Armament Haki spread across his weapon and body, making him appear like a demon ready to wreak havoc.
"Time to thin the herd," Scopper declared, his voice a low rumble.
With a powerful swing of his axes, he roared,
{Copper Sunburst}
The attack was devastating. His axes cleaved through the air in a wide arc before slamming into the ground with earth-shattering force. The impact sent a massive shockwave rippling outward, obliterating clones in its path and tearing through Dock 5. The very ground beneath them cracked and split, chunks of debris flying into the air.
"RAHHH!" Scopper roared, his voice echoing over the destruction.
From a safer distance, Mace's other cloned body observed the carnage, his usual smugness replaced by visible panic. His eyes widened as he watched clone after clone disintegrate under Scopper's onslaught.
"Damn it, Taylor!" Mace cursed, his fists clenched. "When are reinforcements coming? These aren't your run-of-the-mill pirates... they're monsters!"
[Roger and Oden]
Meanwhile, chaos unfolded on another part of Dock 5.
Roger and Oden carved through Mace's endless army of paper clones as if they were nothing more than butter. Hundreds of duplicates rushed at the two powerhouses, but the effort was futile. Neither of them broke a sweat; in fact, they seemed to be enjoying themselves.
"WAHAHAHAHA! KEEP THEM COMING!" Roger bellowed, his iconic red-glinting eyes shining with exhilaration.
"YES! I AGREE WITH ROGER-KICHI-SAN!" Oden roared back, his wide grin stretching even further as his two katanas sliced through tens of clones with every swing.
From a safe vantage point atop a distant building, Mace watched the carnage unfold, his confidence replaced by utter disbelief. His hands trembled as he muttered, "What the hell… These guys are not... human."
Below, the battlefield rang with the joyous laughter of Roger and Oden, a sound that contrasted sharply with the destruction they unleashed. Their swings destroyed waves of clones, sending paper fragments scattering into the air like confetti.
"I can't keep up! They're monsters!" Mace said, his voice shaking. Panic overtook him as he hastily created another paper clone to hold his position. Without a second thought, he leaped from his spot and began bounding across rooftops toward Taylor's location.
Just as Mace reached a new vantage point and caught sight of Taylor's battleship in the distance, a sudden and ominous change in the atmosphere stopped him. The air grew heavy, dark clouds swirled above, and a deafening crack of thunder echoed across Water 7.
From above, a massive lightning beam descended, striking Taylor's ship with pinpoint accuracy. The sheer force of the blast was overwhelming, igniting the ship in flames and sending shockwaves that even reached Mace, causing his hair to stand on end.
"Shit! Shit! Shit! SHIIT!" Mace screamed, his voice filled with desperation as he rushed faster toward the wreckage, hoping to find Taylor alive.
[On Taylors Ship]
Onboard the battleship moments earlier, Taylor lounged comfortably, watching Dock 5 in the distance as he sipped from a glass of wine. His smirk widened as he muttered to himself, "Heheh... fools."
But his arrogance was short-lived. He noticed the sudden shift in the weather, the darkening skies, and the crackling thunder above. Taylor's smirk faded as realization struck him. He wasn't a fool. He knew he was the target.
"GRRHH!! Damned lightning bastard!" Taylor yelled, throwing his glass aside as he dashed to the ship's edge. Summoning all his strength, he leaped into the air, trying to escape the impending strike.
Unfortunately for Taylor, the destructive power of Enel's El Thor was unparalleled. Though he had managed to leap meters away, the sheer force of the lightning blast burned through his back, searing his flesh. The impact of the deafening soundwave left him momentarily disoriented, his ears ringing uncontrollably.
"Ab...ahwba… FuawwkkK!" Taylor screamed as he splashed into the water below, his arms flailing in rage and pain. His scorched body trembled in agony as he surfaced, his hands raised toward the burning wreckage of his ship.
[Somewhere in Water 7]
The scene shifted to a tranquil park in Water 7, where Aokiji sat on a bench, lazily tossing breadcrumbs to a flock of birds. His usual calm demeanor was interrupted by the ringing of his Den Den Mushi.
Reluctantly, he picked it up, sighing as he answered. "Yeah?"
"Kuzan, where are you?" came Akainu's sharp voice.
"Ah... Akainu. I'm in Water 7. Why?"
"You're already there? Good. Get to Dock 5 immediately and assist Taylor! This is no ordinary battle; Roger himself is there!"
Aokiji groaned. "Ugh... Akainu, can't this wait? I was just—"
"NO!" A far deeper, more authoritative voice cut him off. It was Kong, the Fleet Admiral. "Kuzan, get moving! This is a direct order!"
Eyes narrowing, Aokiji straightened up. "Understood, Fleet Admiral."
Ending the call, he placed the Den Den Mushi back in his sack, his laid-back demeanor replaced with cold determination. "So much for a vacation…"
Before he could make his move, the sky above Water 7 darkened. A massive beam strike lit up the horizon, brightening the city as a whole. Aokiji's eyes widened.
"Dammit! Looks like I might already be late," he muttered.
Summoning an ice bird beneath him, Aokiji leapt aboard and took to the skies, soaring swiftly toward Dock 5. As he neared the battlefield, the unmistakable sound of a bullet sounded to him...
