Chapter 19 - Taking my anger out on demons

Bridget POV

I'm avoiding Melinda for now as I'm ignoring her calls as well.

I was on the Golden Gate Bridge thinking to myself as I wanted some peace but then I got a visitor.

Bridget: Yes Leo, how can I help you this fine day?

Leo: You've been ignoring Melinda, she's been calling for you nonstop.

Bridget: I know, did you know I can feel when Melinda is cheating on the mate bond, cause I can sense it to try to block out the pain of betrayal hits you like truck. Hard and Fast!

Leo: I'm so sorry Bridget, I'll have to have a talk with her.

Bridget: No Leo, don't step in to fix this, it's all on Melinda, I'll be fine, you have a family to take care of while I'll sort it out myself.

I orbed back to the house to see Piper, Chris, and Wyatt.

Bridget: Hey, what's going on?

Wyatt: Oh just nervous about going out on a date is all.

Chris: A double date actually.

Piper: Which I explained to them that there's nothing to be scared of.

Bridget: Well it's only natural but I wouldn't know cause I've never been on a date.

Piper: Melinda still bothering you?

Bridget: I'll deal with it, not my fault my other half treats me like trash. I will deal with it in my own way but for now, is there any demons I can take my anger out on?

Chris: Um yeah, there's a demon that's put bounties on the family, his name is Goran.

Bridget: Knowing how powerful the Halliwell family is, they still put bounties on you?

Wyatt: Yeah but it's always a demon who wants to make a name for themselves really.

Bridget: Right, well I'll go do that.

We then heard footsteps coming down the stairs to see Melinda but I turned around quickly away from her.

Melinda: Sounds like fun, count me in.

Bridget: Actually I'm going alone, and don't you have a boyfriend to get back to?

Wyatt and Chris almost couldn't control there laughter while Piper hits them.

Melinda: I mean thought you needed a hand.

Bridget: Thanks but no, I don't need the charity, go back to what's his name for your fun really.

I orbed to the attic to be alone leaving Melinda there.

Melinda POV

What's her problem?! As I saw Wyatt and Chris laughing at this!

Wyatt: Well that went well.

Chris: Almost too well.

Melinda: What's so funny?

Piper: Did you really think she appreciated your little stunt the last time you called her?

Melinda: I mean, she is here to protect me.

Piper: No, she's here to guide you, not be your toy you can throw away when you get bored.

Melinda: Fine, but she won't let me help her.

Piper: That's another thing, that boyfriend thing, it ends now, never liked that kid neither did your father.

Melinda: So I'm supposed to give up my life just because this mate bond thing!!

Piper: No, but she is here to guide you, that means if it's not a life ending serious situation, don't call her and you will be apologizing to her cause she can feel you cheating on the bond every time which physically but also emotionally as well.

Bridget POV

I was at the demons location as I killed the demons as I was feeling much better.

Bridget: Well that was fun.
