My Territory, My Rule.

"You're saying?" Li Chen asked with a cold, indifferent gaze.

The group behind him sucked in a cold breath and felt a shiver run down their spines.

Na forcefully swallowed the lump in her throat, her face covered in trepidation. She and everyone else thought Li Chen was merely bluffing, but seeing the head hung at the entrance dripping blood, they shivered.

Guiyin looked at Li Chen with various thoughts running through her mind. She couldn't understand where such an ordinary boy got the confidence to attack a disciple of the Kunlun Sword Sect.

She suppressed the turmoil within her, her voice steady as she inquired, "Do you not fear the wrath of the Kunlun Sword Sect?"

When Li Chen looked at her, he shook his head, thinking how naive these people were about the horrors their world faced.

"Kunlun Sword Sect?" He asked and shook his head.

"If you're delusional enough to think the sect will come to your rescue, you won't even know how you die from those things."

"The sect is gone, everything is gone. I don't care if you believe me or not. But what I know is, help is not coming from anywhere. It is either you help yourself or become food for the zombies."

"What!"

The last Kunlun Sword disciple exclaimed with shock written on his face.

"How can you say the sect is gone! Oh, please. Do you think your feeble strength can frighten us with such ridiculous claims? The sect is more powerful than you could ever understand."

Haha!

A chuckle escaped from Li Chen, and his expression turned sinister.

"I just killed your friend in your presence. Where did you get the courage to speak to me like that?" he said slowly with a deadly glare.

When the boy heard this, he shivered, his eyes darting to the head hung at the entrance, and he immediately regretted his outburst.

"P-Please… don't kill me," he begged with a trembling voice.

"Ha! Kill you?" Li Chen shook his head.

"You must understand: this building belongs to me, and I can decide whether you live or die in this very instant."

"Since you're such a slow learner to the horror of what is happening right now, I will enlighten you."

"Get out of my territory!" he said, pointing his sword at him. "I only give you two seconds to leave this building before I change my mind."

The boy was stunned.

He looked at the people around him, expecting help from them, but then he realized he was alone.

Looking at Li Chen's deadly gaze and the blood rain outside, he summoned all the courage in his body and dragged himself toward the exit.

When he reached the exit, he raised his head and looked at his friends for the last time before stepping into the blood rain.

Those inside watched as he stepped into the blood rain slowly with looks of curiosity.

At first, the boy did not feel anything strange about the blood-red rain and turned to give Li Chen a disdainful look.

"I will make you regret what you did today," he said and ran toward the center of the village.

However, he only took a few steps when he felt his legs getting heavier.

His legs felt leaden, his thoughts sluggish and distorted. As he struggled to move, he heard snarls approaching from ahead.

Raising his head, he managed to see the hungry horde of zombies.

His survival instincts kicked in, but the blood rain clouded his mind and overwhelmed his body.

Before he could take three steps, the hungry zombies appeared around him and devoured him, his miserable screams reverberating in the quiet street of the village.

Inside the Wild Goose Chamber, the group watched the horrifying scene, their hearts pounding wildly in their chests.

Suddenly, a deep, menacing growl erupted from the zombies as they turned towards them and began to advance with long, predatory strides.

"T-they… are… coming," one of the maids said with a trembling voice.

Manager Bo's legs almost turned to jelly. He opened his mouth a few times to speak, but no words came out.

Guiyin and her maid Na were trembling, looking at the savage, vile things coming to their hideout.

Li Chen remained expressionless. "I don't want to kill needlessly," he said. "This is my territory. Leave or stay."

"But remember, if you stay, you must obey my rules and regulations," he said, looking at their faces one after the other.

The zombies were now gathered at the entrance, their heads split into four gruesome pieces, eager to devour anything in sight.

Watching the zombies close in, Manager Bo was the first person to fall to his knees.

"Young Master, I agree to follow you and obey everything you say."

Seeing this, the three servants also followed him, pledging their allegiance to Li Chen.

Na held the hem of Guiyin's cloth in trepidation. It was now or never if they wanted to escape from these vile things.

"Please save us. We've all agreed to follow you and abide by your rules," Guiyin said reluctantly.

Just as she finished, Li Chen swung his sword and severed the head of the zombie that was right behind him.

"That's a wise choice," he said and turned to confront the zombies.

Watching him kill the zombies, the group breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at the zombies up close made them realize how fearsome they were.

Within a minute, Li Chen had effortlessly eliminated all the zombies.

He stood at the center of the dead zombies and commanded, "The first rule in my territory is that you can't be idle."

"Gather all the dead zombies from the second floor to the first floor," he said slowly.

Even though they were scared and reluctant, they all moved toward the second floor to clear it.

Unbeknownst to Li Chen, a bald man stood in the shadow and looked at the Wild Goose Building with an expressionless face before disappearing deep into the shadow.
