The Final Piece of the Puzzle

It didn't feel like fire. It didn't feel like thunder or divine revelation. There were no golden beams of light. No crackling magic. No voices from the heavens whispering that I was finally complete.

When you live with something so long, you tend to forget about it. If you are always in pain, after a while, you learn to ignore it. I never understood just how incomplete I was until I was finally whole.
