Chapter 35

Richmond, London...

The outskirts of the city were eerily quiet, the sun casting long shadows on the deserted streets.

Eleanor stepped out of her car, her casual attire...a pair of ripped jeans, a simple shirt, and sturdy boots—contrasting with the sophistication she usually portrays.

A pair of dark sunglasses and a low baseball cap completed her disguise.

Reaching the entrance, she pulled out her phone and dialed a number.

"I'm here," she said curtly, her voice extremely low.

A moment later, the heavy door creaked open, revealing a tall, muscular man with a menacing presence.
