Essence of the Bright Lord, Grey Lord, or Dark Lord
By consuming this essence, you gain several boons, with branching paths to choose from: the purifying essence of the Bright Lord (BL), the neutral essence of the Grey Lord (GL), or the corrupting essence of the Dark Lord (DL). Choose one path to receive its benefits.
Superhuman Body: Gain a superhuman body sculpted to your specifications. You can throw fully armored men with little effort and punch large beasts unconscious with a single blow. Your body is also tough and swift.
Intimidation: You can instill fear into even the bravest souls, causing the cowardly to fall over dead from shock and fear.
Soul Manipulation: You can manipulate spirits and souls, consuming them to increase your power in various ways.
Mastery of Power:
(BL): Master extremely pure power, which can cure diseases, restore true forms, bless warriors with holy abilities, slay demons, bind angels, and purify or enchant items, buildings, and land.
(GL): Master a neutral power that can heal or curse, enhance warriors, and bind creatures. It lacks the extremes of the pure and corrupt powers but also lacks their inherent weaknesses.
(DL): Master extremely corruptive power, which can create horrifying mutations, curse people with ailments, empower warriors with dark gifts, summon bound demons, and corrupt items, buildings, and land.
Sensing Power:
(BL): Sense any corruption or infernal power within something or someone, even if suppressed.
(GL): Sense supernatural energy in general, without the fine differentiation of the Bright or Dark Lord.
(DL): Sense any purity or divine power within something or someone, even if suppressed.
Reconstruction: You can break someone down as a person and rebuild them into whatever you wish.
Recruitment: Find willing henchmen or troops even in unlikely places and in decent numbers.
Superhuman Skills: Gain superhuman skill in economics, logistics, politics, and other areas needed to run a functional power.
