The golden orbs pouring from Gamabunta were of astonishing quality.
In moments, Kazuya had collected over 5,000 Chakra points and nearly 3,000 Sage Energy points.
"Well worth it…" Kazuya smiled to himself.
The fresher the target, the richer the energy. And since this was only his second time encountering Gamabunta, the high-energy orbs flowed at an impressive rate.
Even with Kazuya using only seventy percent of his strength, he was easily overpowering the massive toad.
In the Naruto world, there's a "giant effect" where larger summoned creatures possess greater strength, but at the ultra-high power levels of shadow rank and beyond, that advantage decreases.
It's why shinobi like the Third Raikage could single-handedly take on the rampaging Eight-Tails, or why Hashirama and Madara could treat tailed beasts like toys.
For Gamabunta, the impact was disorienting.
"What... what kind of strength does this kid have?" The great toad was seeing stars, absolutely shocked.
Not even Jiraiya had the strength to subdue him like this!
He'd never expected this young human to possess such terrifying power.
"Does this count as passing?" Kazuya asked, smiling.
"You little—are you joking?" Gamabunta bellowed.
With a great heave, Gamabunta leaped, twisting high into the air to shake Kazuya off his head.
Gamabunta spun as he rose, trying to dislodge his human opponent.
However—
A flash of white streaked through the air some distance away.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!"
Kazuya released a wave of blazing fire that surged toward the airborne toad.
"Water Style: Iron Cannonball!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Gamabunta countered with three enormous water bullets, colliding with the firestorm.
"What's with this kid's fire style?" Gamabunta thought, bewildered.
Gamabunta's eyes hardened as he watched Kazuya's roaring wall of flames.
Why did this kid seem... even stronger than Jiraiya?
Flames clashed with water in a fiery explosion. Boom!
In an instant, a scorching wave spread in all directions. The intense heat caused massive plants in the wetlands to wither, emitting clouds of steam.
It was a truly fearsome display.
The clash of jutsu rippled out, affecting an area over a kilometer wide.
Gamabunta's Water Style: Iron Cannonball was powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with the One-Tails, Shukaku. But here it was being overpowered by Kazuya's fire, even with the natural disadvantage fire has against water!
Kazuya's mastery over fire-style jutsu was at its peak—Level 5 Dragon Flame Jutsu.
By now, his prowess with fire jutsu likely surpassed everyone in the shinobi world, except perhaps Madara Uchiha.

Golden orbs of energy continued to flood into Kazuya.
Gamabunta's raw battle power, thanks to his colossal size, was somewhere between mid- and high-level Kage strength, and his Chakra reserves and strength were incredible. Just by fighting him, Kazuya was collecting enormous amounts of Chakra and Sage Energy.
It felt amazing.
No wonder Mount Myoboku felt like an endless source of fresh experience points!
Kazuya had a fond impression of the toads of Myoboku; he didn't want to go all out on them. But that would not be the case if he ever went up against the snakes of Ryuchi Cave.
"Maybe it's time I look into finding Ryuchi Cave…" he mused. "Orochimaru might know where to find it."
Suddenly, Gamabunta, hiding his form in the dust and smoke from the explosion, charged directly toward Kazuya.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In only a few bounds, he closed the distance between them to a hundred meters.
Swish!
Gamabunta drew his massive short blade, his face grim.
"Against this one… if I'm not serious, I'll lose."
Gamabunta no longer dared treat Kazuya like a mere "kid." With that terrifying strength and ocean of Chakra, he was more like a walking-tailed beast!
The enormous short sword swung toward Kazuya, whipping up a fierce gust that cut through the air long before the blade itself arrived.
But by then—
Dark clouds had already gathered in the sky above, rumbling ominously.
Boom! Boom!
A frightening flash of lightning crackled in the heavens.
In an instant, a blinding streak of lightning coalesced in the shape of a beast—Kirin.
"Not this again…" Gamabunta's face darkened.
He adjusted his grip on his blade, swinging it upward to meet the lightning.
Crash!
The monstrous bolt of lightning struck the short sword.
Boom! Boom!
In an instant, the entire blade was engulfed in blinding light.
And the terrifying bolt of lightning didn't stop there.
Crack! Crack!
As Gamabunta watched in shock, the lightning surged along his massive form, sending shockwaves of pain through every inch of him.
The blade, engulfed in lightning, split.
It broke clean in half with a resounding snap.
The shattered fragment, still sizzling with residual energy, embedded itself in a nearby mountain.
"Aaaaaagh!" Gamabunta let out a guttural cry.
Electricity scorched through his body as waves of intense pain radiated in all directions.
With a final burst of lightning, the colossal toad fell back to earth, crashing with a thunderous impact.
Sizzle! Sizzle!
Gamabunta lay there, his massive form smoking from the charred patches covering his skin, filling the air with the scent of burnt flesh.

Kazuya landed lightly atop the dazed Gamabunta, golden orbs swirling around him as he collected energy.
Dressed in his pristine white cloak embroidered with the Will of Fire symbol, Kazuya pressed his foot onto Gamabunta's head, his tone calm as he asked, "Satisfied now?"
Boom!
With a surge of Monster Strength, Kazuya's foot pressed down further, sinking Gamabunta's massive body into the ground by another ten meters.
"Ugh!" Gamabunta groaned, his mouth spurting a trickle of blood, adding another wave of glowing golden orbs to Kazuya's haul.
"I… I give up!"
Myoboku's boss toad hung his head in defeat, totally cowed.
What kind of monstrous strength did this kid possess?
Neither Jiraiya nor Minato ever came close to this level.
The next time he saw Jiraiya, he was going to give him a piece of his mind. Last time, couldn't Jiraiya have summoned some other toad, like Gamaken, to take the beating?
Just then, thunderous footsteps echoed from the distance, more massive figures approaching the battlefield.
