Alcatraz Penitentiary (2)

Jenny and Chen finally reached the Alcatraz Penitentiary after four days of walking, and despite Jenny being the desperate one, the one who pushed them forward was Chen.

Chen didn't tolerate the slow pace they had been walking all along, so she made sure to hurry them forward. Jenny wasn't exactly helpful; otherwise, they would've gotten here much earlier.

Her fear grew as her hope slowly dissipated. It wasn't that she didn't want to save her brother much earlier, but a persistent thought plagued her mind over and over again without rest—the thought that maybe her brother was no longer alive.

He is alive, I have to believe at least that, Jenny thought shakily.

Jenny's large werewolf whimpered, slightly shivering while looking at the Penitentiary, and she couldn't exactly blame it because she, too, felt unsettled being this close to this place. She couldn't explain it, but something about this place put her in unease.
