Lucian thought about it for a while. "Okay, but let's just observe the base and not do anything reckless for today." He said, "If things go south, we run."
Medeia raised a brow. It wasn't like Lucian to suggest retreating.
But given how utterly fucked up things had been with Max and the chipped soldiers, it was clear that whoever was in charge of this base was far more dangerous than any enemy they had faced before.
Besides, she still hadn't figured out who possessed the ability to erase or manipulate memories. She had scanned the soldiers at the front gate, but none of them seemed to have any noteworthy mutant abilities.
So, it could be the general, the lieutenant, or maybe someone she hadn't even considered.
"Alright, I promise I won't do anything reckless today," Medeia relented.
