Fragmented Awakening 2

This has to be a dream, right? If it is, I'll wake up soon. That's how dreams work.

Well, I might as well sleep. Maybe when I wake up, I'll be back in my real body...

Ten days had passed, and my world remained shrouded in uncertainty. Today, however, was different. I caught a glimpse of her—a striking woman with flowing black hair that framed her face like a dark halo. She spoke to me softly, her voice a melodic hum, but the words slipped through my grasp like sand through fingers.

Yet, I was captivated. Her beauty was undeniable, and those golden eyes! They shimmered like precious gems, drawing me in with an almost magnetic pull. I felt her warmth envelop me as she scooped me up into her lap, a gesture both comforting and foreign. Unlike the caretakers I had known before, who merely attended to my needs, this woman held me close, as if I were something precious.

She shifted, carrying me to the other side of a large, ornate bed. My gaze darted toward the other baby nestled there, and I couldn't help but let out a soft gasp. The child was nothing short of enchanting, with silver hair that glistened like moonlight and—was that a hint of blue in those eyes?

"Wait a minute," I thought, confusion swirling in my mind. "Silver hair? Where am I? Am I in Europe?" The thought was fleeting, overshadowed by my fascination with the scene before me. A mirror hung far away, just out of reach, and I longed to see my reflection. If only I could make this captivating lady move closer to it!

So, I decided to wail. My tiny voice filled the room, a desperate attempt to draw her attention in that direction. "#$@@^%$%!# !@#@ %^%&!" I babbled, my attempts to communicate lost in a jumble of sounds.

To my delight, she chuckled softly and obliged, shifting us both toward the mirror. As we moved, I caught a glimpse of my own hair—a deep, dark shade of black, familiar and reassuring. At least I knew what was "normal" in this strange new reality.

Once the mirror was in view, she playfully rubbed her cheek against mine, a gesture that filled me with warmth. It felt like an adventure, one I would cherish in the shadows of my fragmented memories. With a gentle sigh, she

placed me back in my crib, the comforting weight of her presence lingering like a warm embrace.

As the world around me began to blur, fatigue washed over me, pulling me into a dreamless sleep. It was a strange but enchanting day, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something extraordinary.

Twenty days later...

Finally, the moment had come to unveil my true identity. I had spent the last few weeks adapting to my new body, and now, with a mix of curiosity and trepidation, I decided to explore. As I tentatively reached down to touch my private parts, a surge of realization hit me. "Well, hell yeah! I have a dick!"

With that revelation igniting a strange sense of excitement, I turned my focus to the next challenge: crawling. I shifted my weight to one side and, with surprising ease, managed to move a few inches. "Yes! I can do this!" I thought. Sitting up felt like a daunting task, but I was determined. "Just a few more days, and I'll get the hang of it."

Suddenly, I sensed someone approaching. Peeking out, I saw him again—the handsome figure I had glimpsed a few times before. There was an undeniable resemblance between him and my sibling, sharing the same hair and eye colour. He was serious, often staring at me and my sibling for what felt like an eternity before walking away.

I noticed the household around me was bustling with activity; servants hurried about, and each of us had two caretakers. "This must be a high-income household," I mused, taking it all in.

Then, another figure entered the room—a slightly older woman, graceful in her movements. "Here she comes!" I thought, excitement bubbling up. This lady always took us to the garden, babbling endlessly while she tended to her plants and sipped some sort of tea. There was a striking resemblance between her and my father, but I found myself caring little about family resemblances, as long as I got to be outside. The sun here felt larger, almost majestic, casting a warm glow over everything.

But then, a familiar pain flared behind my eyes—my headache returning with a vengeance. "Oh shit!" I gasped, as darkness engulfed me.

When I regained consciousness, it was nighttime. The room was dim, shadows creeping along the walls, and my head throbbed heavily. As I tried to make sense of my surroundings, fragments of memories started to resurface. "Motherf#cker," I muttered to myself. "This isn't Earth."
