Chapter 5: Her blood, her poison

Lu Mingtian , Lu Yanghao and Lu Zhenyu looked quickly at the door. Xiu Jia opened the door in panic. Her face was so pale and stood in front of Lu Mingtian. Her eyes was so serious. if her eyes could talk , it could frightened others with her furious gazes.

Lu Mingtian was quite surprised that she could calm down quickly from her breakdown a moment ago. " What's wrong? did something happen inside?" Lu Yanghao also stared at her as if wanting to get answer from her mouth. 

Was Wei Yingzhen going to wake up?

Xiu Jia grabbed Lu Mingtian's palm and she used her finger to write something there. Who treated her? Lu Mingtian answered. " It was me and other nurses who assisted in the operation." after hearing that Xiu Jia became even more anxious. She reached out to felt his pulse. 

That's strange. How could he not poison by her blood? Was it the way they treat her? How could there be such a treatment? No matter how careful she was, she always got poison when she treated Wei Yingzhen's wounds.

Lu Mingtian was surprised when Xiu Jia felt his pulse. That's girl was a Chinese medicine master! " What's wrong with me ?" He was curious what' wrong with them treated Wei Yingzhen's wounds.

Xiu Jia didn't answer and continued to write something in Lu Mingtian's palm. Did you get into skin contact with Princess's blood?

Lu Mingtian shook his head at her." No, We used medical gloves. Wei Yingzhen would get infected if we didn't treat her carefully." Xiu Jia showed an ignorance expression when Lu Mingtian mentioned gloved.

Lu Mingtian explained to her gently." It's a material to protect doctors' hands from patients' bodies and also not to infect them." He did not know that his head was lowered near Xiu Jia's head. They were so closed to each other. 

Lu Zhenyu on the side clicked his tongue in wonder. Here we go, another one was acting strange around those girls. Lu Zhenyu glanced around Lu Yanghao who was distracted not knowing what he was thinking and Lu Mingtian who spoke softly to Xiu Jia. 

Lu Yanghao who couldn't help but remembered the scene of Wei Yingzhen fainted. " There is something wrong with her blood." He said to Xiu Jia. it was not a question but a confirmation.

Xiu Jia turned her face to Lu Yanghao. Her face changed instantly when she looked at him closely. Lu Yanghao's lip has already turned purple. She immediately knew that he had touched Wei Yingzhen's blood. She turned back to Lu Mingtian and asked him. Where was her things? 

When she woke up, she realized someone had changed her clothes. Luckily, It was Hanfu not what those people wore, otherwise it would felt like she was in undergarment for sleeping but her things was not with her.

Lu Mingtian did not know but he still assured her." Let's go in to Wei Yingzhen's ward first. I'll call someone to bring something for you."

Three of them sat down on the sofa near Wei Yingzhen's bed. No one was talking. The atmosphere was so awkward. Lu Mingtian looked at Lu Yanghao closely and noticed that eventhough his brother was fine but his lip had turned purple and his face had long turned pale. 

Lu Yanghao glanced at Xiu Jia." can her blood poison others who came into contact with it ?" Xiu Jia pursed her lip. She didn't want to reveal much about princess's matter, but she believed in her judgment. 

She used her fingers to wrote down something on the table. Did you have brush or something she could write down? 

Then someone knocked the door. " Boss, it's me." Fang Meng said. Lu Yanghao leaned back on the sofa and said. " Come in." Fang Meng went inside the ward and handed Xiu Jia a paper bag. Xiu Jia took it and nodded at him as if thanking him. she reached in and took out a white jade bottle. She put it down on the table in front of Lu Yanghao. 

Fang Meng handed her a pen and piece of paper. Xiu Jia tooked it and knew that something was strange from the start. Those people spoke casually to each others, the medical was more advance and even the brush was so strange. 

She shook the pen to inspect it. Lu Mingtian was amused by her action. " It is pen. It has ink in it. You don't need to grind ink to write down." Xiu Jia just glanced at him expressionlessly and started to write down. " In this jade bottle are the antidotes. You need to take it two times a day for three day. You are pretty strong. if it is normal people, they will fainted after an hour and if they don't take antidotes, they will died within a day." Fang Meng gasped when he knew how powerful the poison was. He was wondered how his boss got poisoned.

Lu Mingtian and Lu Zhenyu also surprised by this information. Lu Mingtian who was a doctor himself knew how strange it was to have poison in your blood. He looked up to Wei Yingzhen who was still unconscious on the bed. How could she survive till now? Then he looked back at Xiu Jia.

Well, She had grandmaster with her.

Xiu Jia looked at them and took a deep breath before continued to write down something. " Princess must have made a deal with you, right? " Lu Yanghao spoke up. " hmm, We were passed by and heard about the commotion. We have arrange the men to clean up your trace. That Bo Mingchuan, we had him locked up and wait for you to handle it."

When Xiu Jia heard Bo Mingchuan's name, she gripped the pen hard till her hand turned white. That's bastard. If she had knew he would brought that strange weapon, she would have poison him to died rather then let him go back to second prince's side and ended up hurting princess like that.

Xiu Jia composed herself and continued write down to them. " Make sure that your people who came into contact with our Princess didn't touched her blood. You don't want your people to died suddenly, right?" Lu Mingtian read it and then snickered.

Xiu Jia looked at weirdly at him. They all could see what she wanted to say. What's wrong with Lu Mingtian? Why would he laugh?

Lu Mingtian , Lu Zhenyu and Fang Meng turned to Lu Yanghao. Who else could come into contact with Wei Yingzhen's blood when he the one that hold her all the time before they got on medical jet.

Fang Meng also realized how his boss was poison. it clearly that unconscious girl. 

" You all get away from me." a fierce voice sounded outside their ward, " Miss, wait for us. We can show you her ward." Everyone inside Wei Yingzhen's ward could hear the commotion clearly.

Xiu Jia stood up and walked toward the door.
