She was just about to say those three words.
Everyone, including the host, held their breath, quietly waiting.
Hidden behind the actors, the little "pedestral" widened her eyes.
She stared intently at her mother's lips, eagerly anticipating the next critical line.
"I... do."
Judy agreed to Nick's proposal, and the audience erupted into applause for the third time.
The little "pedestral" exhaled a breath—transforming into a large pebble.
Luna leaned over again, "Sister, your eyes are red."
Noah snapped back to her senses, "Huh? Really?"
"They are. Also, even though I don't really understand what a proposal is, my eyes feel a little sour too. Are my eyes red as well?"
Noah chuckled, leaned her face close to her sister's, and gently rubbed her sister's tearful corner with her cheek. "There, now they're not red."
"Mm-hmm, thank you, Sister~"
Watching their dad propose to their mom—it wasn't a scene you'd see every day. After all, proposals usually happen before having kids.
So, feeling emotional is normal~
The audience and actors were deeply captivated by the couple's bashful yet pure performance.
If these two joined the entertainment industry, they could be tomorrow's shining stars.
However, what they didn't know was that these so-called "future stars" weren't acting at all—everything they showed was entirely genuine.
The host, leading the crowd in cheers, didn't even notice that the prop ring hadn't actually been placed on Rossweisse's finger.
Everything ended at the moment when the line "I do" was spoken.
Leon stood up, handed the ring back to the male actor, and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Whew~"
Right beside him, a simultaneous sigh echoed.
Leon turned his head to see Rossweisse doing the same thing, meeting his gaze just as he looked over.
In less than a second, the couple exchanged a single word with their eyes:
'RUN!'
Hand in hand, they dashed off the stage.
The host, watching their retreating figures, delivered the final punchline:
"Run, run—straight into the graveyard of your love!"
BANG!
As the theater doors closed, it shut out the applause, cheers, and whistles, and the world suddenly became quiet.
The couple felt as though they'd escaped from hell and regained a new lease on life.
The sunlight had never felt so warm, the air had never seemed so fresh.
'So this is what life without social death feels like?'
'It's so beautiful, my dear friends!'
After catching her breath, Rossweisse straightened up and scanned her surroundings, finally spotting a restroom off to the side of the hallway.
"Wait for me a moment; I'll go touch up my makeup."
She'd sweated buckets earlier; even though her makeup was light, it still needed fixing.
Leon nodded.
While Rossweisse was freshening up, Leon wandered idly around the theater's hallway.
The theater's interior wasn't small. Besides the musical stage, there were several medium-sized movie theaters and an indoor playground for young dragons—a large, integrated entertainment venue.
As Leon strolled, he stumbled upon a self-service photo printing kiosk.
The dragon-slaying hero's eyes lit up.
'What a fortuitous encounter.'
On this date in Sky City, Leon had a little private goal—to turn the bunny girl photos he'd taken earlier into tangible treasures.
And now, here was his chance.
He glanced toward the restroom—Rossweisse wasn't back yet.
'Perfect timing!'
Leon hurried to the kiosk, lifted the curtain, and stepped inside.
He'd previously considered printing these photos back at the Silver Dragon Tribe, but there weren't any self-service kiosks there—all printing was done manually.
And when it came to something as important as this, the fewer people knew, the better, to ensure confidentiality.
If the tribe members ever saw such... "intense" photos of their queen, Rossweisse would probably tie Leon up and hang him in the Silver Dragon Sanctuary for public shaming.
That would be quite the provocation—and Leon wasn't about to poke the bear like that.
So, he'd been silently hoping that Sky City would have self-service kiosks like this.
And now, fortune had smiled upon him.
In large entertainment hubs like this, photo kiosks were a given.
Leon set his camera on the machine, selected the bunny girl photos he wanted, and started the printing process.
To be safe, he printed five copies of each photo, planning to stash them in different locations back home.
Even if Rossweisse discovered one or two of them, he'd still have backups.
Leon wasn't one to leave just one escape route; he left himself five.
A moment later, the photos of Rossweisse in her bunny girl outfit were freshly printed.
Leon didn't linger on them; there'd be plenty of time for that later.
He quickly retrieved his camera and deleted all the bunny girl photos, ensuring that the printed copies were now the only ones in existence.
Once home, he'd carefully hide these five copies in different places, ready to counter any moves Rossweisse might make.
If she ever got so mad she wanted to overpower him, well, Leon would show her what it means for a dragon-slaying hero to truly dominate.
This was top-tier planning ahead (cue tactical lean-back).
Leon stored away the photos and camera, stepped out of the kiosk, and returned to the theater entrance just as Rossweisse finished touching up her makeup.
The couple faced each other, Rossweisse eyeing him up and down suspiciously.
"Why do you look so happy?"
"You said yes to my proposal, dear Judy. Of course I'm happy."
Rossweisse scowled but played along. "Then, dear Nick, what's our next date activity? Stir-fried Nick with extra carrots?"
"Steamed Judy with extra cilantro."
Bantering, they left the theater and headed to their next date activity.

[Second Activity of the Date: Couple Shopping]
While walking towards the shopping street, Rossweise asked,"By the way, did you see where Noah and the others were hiding earlier?"
They were supposedly observing secretly and taking notes, but throughout the entire scene, Rossweise hadn't caught sight of her daughters.
She was a little worried. If some unforeseen accident had caused Noah to fail in gathering material, not only would her family essay be delayed, but the play that Leon and she just performed would have been for nothing.
Leon shook his head. "Before entering the theater, I did see them. But after that, I didn't see them anymore."
Rossweise blinked. Since they followed them all the way to the theater, there shouldn't be any issue.
However, she was still surprised. "You actually spotted them? Where were they before entering?"
Leon shrugged his shoulders and said nonchalantly, "In the bushes next to the ice cream stand."
"Oh… I didn't notice."
"Hmm, can't blame you."
Leon said, "As an excellent dragon slayer, counter-reconnaissance is a must-have skill."
Rossweise gave him a side glance and smirked, "Counter-reconnaissance, huh? Then why didn't you use your amazing skills inside the theater?"
Leon snorted at Rossweise's teasing and countered smoothly,"Wasn't I focused on proposing to you?"
Rossweise rolled her eyes and stopped bantering with him.
The couple walked for more than twenty minutes and arrived at a shopping street.
Shopping and strolling were excellent date activities.
They combined "no need for physical contact," "ample opportunity for conversation," and "long time on-screen together" all into one.
It was the perfect activity to provide material for their diligent daughters.
And as a bonus, they could buy some new clothes.
Rossweise thought her pants were indeed a bit… tight.
It did highlight her figure, but wearing them for too long could feel uncomfortable.
So, this was a good opportunity to pick out some suitable clothes and pants.
As time passed, coupled with having given birth once, even with strict regular fitness routines, some parts of her body had begun to fill out.
It wasn't a big deal, but Rossweise felt the timing of this change was a bit off.
It had been over a year since giving birth to Noah and Luna, and her body only now started showing signs of softening?
Oh well, maybe it was because she hadn't exercised much recently—thinking of this, she looked at Leon.
'Darn dragon slayer. Why couldn't the extra weight go to him?'
'He deserves it!'
Looks like when the date ends and they return home, she'll need to find the right moment to pick a fight with Leon.
The couple strolled down the shopping street side by side, scanning for suitable clothing shops while unconsciously observing their surroundings for any signs of the directors' disguises.
That said, since leaving the ice cream stand, Leon hadn't spotted them again.
'Hiding pretty well, huh? Looks like all those rounds of hide-and-seek paid off', Leon thought.
A group of people handing out flyers approached, and one of them handed a flyer to Leon.
Leon reached out to take it and glanced at its contents—it was an advertisement for a store.
Looking up, he noticed that it was just around the next corner.
The store seemed upscale, with a well-decorated and classy storefront.
Leon put away the flyer and suggested they check out that store first. Rossweise agreed without objection.
The couple walked towards the store.
Little did they know, one of the dozen or so people handing out flyers was secretly following them.
After the couple turned into the store, the flyer distributor pulled up their shirt.
It revealed two small dragon girls, one on top of the other, with Noah carrying Luna on her back, hiding at the street corner and peeking towards the store entrance.
"This should be Daddy and Mommy's second date activity, right?" Luna asked.
