First Day of Class-2

Seylith and I, being the scions of the three great houses, had known each other quite well in the past. Still, it didn't seem like he had come here to chat with me.

Suddenly, the dots began to connect themselves in my head. Originally, in the novel, Soren was supposed to beat up one of Seylith's Lackey, setting him up as this big villain.

But that wasn't the case anymore; the plot had changed too much, leading to a race between him and house Valdrin. Both of them had already recruited most of the faculty to their sides, leaving behind neutral students: commoner yet talented students like Soren.

"It sure has," I replied while making sure to keep my gaze steady.

"I must say I was pretty impressed by your performance yesterday, especially your friend's." His eyes fell upon Soren as if trying to peer into all his secrets. "It was quite an amazing performance, especially for someone still in the second stage of Body refinement."
