Masa is a therapist

Driving his car, Masa was absentminded, thinking about the request of the Itsuwa Clan. 

"Can you help us to make Mio healthy?"

Instead of a fight between the two families, the meeting of Masa's uncle and the head of the Itsuwa Clan was smooth. No fights or arguments.

When the head of the Itsuwa Clan heard about the job of moving the materials for the creation of the Academy City, he naturally agreed as it could be a way for two families to smooth their relationship. Not only could he make money, but he could also take part in the Isshiki family's project, which would be of great benefit to his family! 

While the others thought that the Isshiki family was more suitable to become a member of the Ten Major Clans, neither Masa nor the others had much of an interest in such a position, and they were okay with their status quo, especially with their current power being above all the magicians in this country. 

Whether they were the Magic Association, the Ten Major Clans, the 28 Assistant Houses, the Hundreds, or the rest, even if they were all combined, no one could match the Isshiki family despite they were only the 28 Assistant Houses. 

No, probably no one ever thought to cause trouble since being an ally was much better than being an enemy. 

Instead, many wished to lick the asses of the Isshiki family, wishing this family to employ them since the only thing that this family didn't lack was money. 

Regardless, if the relationship between the Isshiki family and the Itsuwa family became closer, it would be great, especially if they could even become closer to Itsuwa Mio, the only Strategic Class Magician in this country, so when Masa heard the request was related to Itsuwa Mio, he had to admit that it was troublesome, he decided to agree. 

Yet, despite being a magician whose might was comparable to a nuclear explosion, Mio's body was weak, and while she could stand, she couldn't walk, and most of the time, she would stay in a wheelchair. 

At the same time, her health was also far below a normal person, and probably, while no one said anything, they were sure that she wouldn't live a long life. 

To use dangerous and strong magic was impossible without a price; many magicians had to pay a certain price within their bodies, minds, or other parts of their lives, similar to Tatsuya, who couldn't use other magics, which made him a failure in the international standard of a magician, making him always to feel inferior to others. 

Still, Masa had to say he was quite confused by Tatsuya's act since even if Tatsuya's emotions had been erased, he could tell that Tatsuya had various other emotions within him, including inferiority due to his inability to use other magics properly, like others even if inwardly Tatsuya was proud of his power and achievement. 

'Let's put this guy aside.' 

Masa knew that it was impossible for Tatsuya to kill him. Not only because of his ability, he wouldn't have died, but Tatsuya had no way to defend himself against a mental type of attack, including mind manipulation, despite being known as the strongest in this world, especially when Tatsuya's ability would always be limited to Decomposition, Regrowth, and Elemental Sight. 

With those three abilities, even if Tatsuya tried to develop or combine them, it was impossible for him to defend against a mental type of attack. 

Or rather, with the power of Yami Yami no Mi, it was impossible for Tatsuya to do anything.

Instead of Tatsuya, his focus was on Itsuwa Mio, the official Strategic Class Magician of Japan. 

Even though Masa was familiar with this term, he felt that he had to explain it again, especially in the official term.

In official terms, a Strategic Class Magician is an individual who possesses Modern Magic that was created through the use of highly advanced science and technology. All of which wield power comparable to weapons of mass destruction.

Only a few countries managed to develop strong military-grade magic. With the continued practice of providing developed magic to the Allied Nations, it also became normal to acknowledge Allied Magicians as Strategic-Class Magicians for their great capabilities with Strategic-Class Magic. 

It's been rumored that around 50 people possess strategic-class magic. However, only 13 people who possess Strategic-Class Magic have had their identities revealed to the world for the sake of national prestige; these individuals are known as the Thirteen Apostles. These Magicians are seen as a big factor in the world's military balance.

'50...' 

This number was quite high, and at the same time, there should probably be more than two people who wielded the Strategic-Class Magic in this country, other than Tatsuya and Mio. 

'Oh, right, I am also one.' 

If Masa wishes to, he could also create magic that could destroy a country by either pulling meteorites from outer space or absorbing everything within the darkness of the Yami Yami no mi. 

Yet, the focus was on Mio, whose magic was known as Abyss, a Movement-Type Magic that could create a spherical depression in water with a diameter of up to several kilometers and a depth of up to a kilometer. Ships caught in the zone would be pulled down the walls of the water, then upon cancellation of the magic, would be swallowed up by the massive waves as the water returned to a horizontal plane. The depth of the sphere allowed for the destruction of submarines as well.

Yet, even if this magic was powerful, it was completely powerless against attacks from the air because Abyss couldn't be used to attack enemies in the sky. Also, Abyss could only be used to manipulate water, which meant that it was powerless if used on land unless the caster knew beforehand that there was a subterranean source of water on which the magic could be cast.

While this magic had such a weakness, it was strong magic regardless, especially when Japan was an island country that was surrounded by water; having this magic was enough to cause many not to mess with this country. 

The one who created this magic was the 5th Research Institute, which the Itsuwa family came from, also having a focus on Material Phase Manipulation Magic, so even if this family was also good at liquid-related magic, its focus was completely different from the Ichijou family that came from the 1st Research Institute, which magic for direct interference of organic bodies in anti-personnel warfare.

Still, while this magic was powerful, only Mio could use the "Abyss," and that was why no one within the Itsuwa family wished for her to pass away early, so they thought to ask the help of the Isshiki family, who was the best within the medicine and health research with magic, especially when their newest magic, "Mercury," allowed them to increase their physical ability further. 

If the Isshiki family could use this magic on Mio, wouldn't she become healthier? 

They didn't expect the Isshiki family to give their magic as it was impossible to master it either since, unlike the Isshiki family, which focused on bio-electricity, the Itsuwa family's focus was on the Movement-Type of Magic, which further specialized to material phase manipulation. 

So, they just asked whether the Isshiki family had a way to improve Mio's health. 

While Masa's uncle couldn't make a promise, he decided to ask Masa, wondering whether Masa could improve Mio's health, then as expected—

"While this is their request, even if you can't do it, it doesn't matter as it won't affect our cooperation." 

"It's fine. Let me try." 

"Okay, then." 

This is the reason why Masa is on his way to Mio's place in Tokyo. Still, he was lucky that Mio's little brother was studying at Magic University, so instead of staying at her home in Ehime, Shikoku, she stayed in Tokyo, which made his trip convenient. 

Remembering all the information about Mio, Masa also arrived at his destination and was ready to meet the official Strategic Class Magician of this country. 

Still, there was no doubt that it would be his first job as a therapist. 

Meanwhile, Mio and her little brother, Itsuwa Hirofumi, also stayed together to welcome the "Blue Beast," Hiiro Masa, who would become Mio's therapist to improve her health. While the Isshiki family told them not to prepare much as Masa didn't plan to stay too long, they couldn't help but prepare many things to welcome Masa, especially with how famous Masa was, especially after that speech on the broadcast previously. 

"But I never expected that they would send the Blue Beast..." 

If it was someone else, Hirofumi might feel envious and even threatened as if he was being challenged, especially when he would become the next head of the Itsuwa family, yet when he thought of Masa, at that time, he really couldn't exert any will to fight since he could tell that Masa was just on another different scale, probably on the same level of his older sister. 

"What? Why are you looking at me like that, Nee-san?" 

"I thought that you would get angry, thinking that the Isshiki family didn't care about me by sending a young man to help with my therapy." 

"I am not stupid." 

Yes, among all the Isshiki family, Masa was the one with the best mastery over the "Mercury" magic, or rather, he was the creator, which was a magic that was related to the therapy to improve Mio's health, so even if Masa was just about to enter a high school, and he wasn't even a doctor, Masa was the best choice to do this therapy. 

While it might seem like a guess, there was a chance that Masa might be the "Reaper," the magician of the Isshiki family who could take the lives of many influential people around the world in a single night.

 Hirofomi was nervous, and Mio, as the older sister, also understood that, so she said, "It will be fine. We're an ally, after all." 

"You are right, Nee-san." 

The Itsuwa and Isshiki families had started their cooperation to build Academia City, so as long as this project existed, their relationship would be amiable. 

Regardless, as they waited for Masa, their subordinates told them that Masa had arrived, and they quickly got ready to welcome him. 

Only when the two saw him did they have to say that the impact was greater than they had imagined. 

"Nice to meet you. My name is Hiiro Masa. Please take care of me."
