Jordan thought he had heard wrongly and he stared at her in silence for few seconds before getting a hold of himself again.
"Your what?"
"Yes, he is my ex-boyfriend. We dated when I was still in college and that was years ago" she replied and walked out.
Jordan followed her immediately and held her back by the arm.
"Do you get that tattoo from him?"
His question was totally unexpected.
And Jasmine's sighed.
"I would like if you would stop talking about this" She said tiredly.
"Okay" And Jordan moved back and left her alone.
Jasmine angrily walked out of his house some time later.
She has absolutely no recollection of last night but one thing she achieved is her composure.
She would go and face her step mother now.
If it was last night, she might have been tempted to put a bullet through her brain.
"Good morning" Jasmine greeted everyone politely as she sat with them at the dining table.
"It's mannerless to come for breakfast late" Her grandfather replied to her greeting and the air around the room became tensed.
"I am not eating" Jasmine replied and turned her attention to her father.
"I got to the company yesterday and my office was occupied by Brandon.
Don't I deserve an explanation for that?" She asked.
"He is fixing the problem you left" his response came short and emotionlessly.
"If he needs an office to do "that" I believe he can get one without moving my stuff to the archive.
That was disrespectful!" Jasmine barked and Samantha shifted nervously on her seat.
"He is not even your legitimate son.
He was brought from outside, why would he have a claim on what is mine?!" Jasmine's voice went higher and Samantha gasped at her words but she was not confident enough to respond to her.
Jasmine was on a different level of crazy from her and she knows.
"Don't yell at your father" Her grandfather warned sternly.
"No, I need an answer to this. Why will he suddenly move into my office out of nowhere just because someone brought a paper from somewhere saying I did not make some paymen?t" she continued.
"Even mother would be turning in her grave".
"Enough!
When you return from your honeymoon, you will get your position back" her father concluded before excusing himself.
Jasmine's eyes widened in horror.
Honeymoon?
When she is not married and has no intention of getting married to the man he wants for her, how would she go on a honeymoon?.

Jordan had decided to spend the weekend doing something he would never do ordinarily.
He had decided to pay Bane a visit.
He now knows the relationship between them.
Even if he was shocked and still surprised, he has no power to change the past.
He told the men outside his intention and they led him inside the gloomily decorated house.
Bane was swirling in his seat when Jordan entered the study.
They both look back at each other with little interest.
"What brought you here Mr Lewis" Bane said his name like it was a curse and Jordan smiled softly at him.
"I'm here to threaten you" Jordan said simply and Bane belt out a loud laughter.
His long hair is pulled into a ponytail and he was twirling a ring on his finger.
His laughter lasted a few minutes before he finally calmed down.
"You are a funny man, Lewis".
"I seldom hear that, thank you"
"I understand that you were once close to Jasmine, may I know why you are putting your nose in our business? Jordan's smile disappeared as he asked the question.
"Because she is mine" Bane replied with a smirk.
"Understood" Jordan said while nodding before bringing out his phone.
"All your operations would be shut down before Monday night.
I know you import drugs and illegal weapons, I'm reporting to authorities tomorrow.
I have several pieces of evidence too, "Don't think about doing anything stupid". Jordan winked at him.
"It would have been better to keep that information to yourself or send me an email, I read emails even though I hate them.
Now I don't think you would return home tonight, I can choose to kill you in any way satisfactory to me" Bane chuckled before reaching for his gun.
They both whip out their weapons at the same time and pointed it at each other.
"The last time you left here is because you were lucky but I don't think you would be today-
He had barely finished his statement when a muffled shot rang out and his gun drop to the ground with a loud plank.
His ear lobe was also leaking a droplet of blood, Jordan had fired a shot and his bullet had hit his gun and sped beside his ear before hitting his chair.
"This is a warning Bane" Jordan said calmly and Bane nodded in agreement with his hands raised.
Bane's jaw flexed angrily as he watched Jordan leave.
His threats and words ruining his mood.
"Will you really let him go boss?" One his men asked they watch him leave.
"What can you possibly do?
Leave him for now " he commanded and dismissed him.

A new week arrived with new challenges Jasmine has lost all right in the company is currently jobless.
She had decided to start investigating the reason behind the problem spurning out of air recently and her conclusion was Samantha.
"So,you are getting married to him again?
After the failed attempt?" Amanda asked in disbelief.
She had come to pay Jasmine a visit because she was too worried by all she had been reading off the internet lately.
"I'm still contemplating, I have been removed from the company and I'm sure Samantha is responsible for that.
I can only return to the company after I get married to him.
Do you think it's worth it?" Jasmine asked her thoughts all over the place.
"Marry him, the worst that could happen is a divorce" Amanda adviced and rested into her seat.
"Well, he is hot and sexy. It's might not be a bad idea to give him a shot".
"Jas!"
"Amanda"
"Have you guys?.." Amanda asked cocking an eyebrow.
She knew how wild Jasmine is but she thought she changed in the past years but she had thought wrong.
"No, he is a noble young man" she replied and Amanda burst out in loud laughter.
"I don't think what I said is funny".
"No, I find it funny that you think he is noble.
Did you try to-
"I did not try to fuck him.
He is a pain in the ass" Her response made Amanda dumbfounded and she decided to keep quiet but one thing that she knows clearly is that her friend is definitely smitten.
Although she would not admit to it.
