Weird Party

The front door swung open, and the main guy of the gang, Derek, walked in with his arm around a girl who looked just as sturdy as he did. Derek was a big guy—broad, with a bit of a belly and an easygoing attitude. His new girlfriend, Tina, shared the same build and had a confident, easy smile as they entered.

"Hey, everyone!" Derek announced loudly, giving a quick wave as he guided Tina toward the living room. "This is Tina. She's my girl now, so y'all better be nice."

Chloe gave them a welcoming grin. "Hey, Tina! Nice to meet you," she said warmly. "Make yourself at home."

Kyle, still lounging on the couch from the last game, smirked. "Derek, you finally found someone just like you, huh?" He gestured vaguely. "Perfect match, dude."

Derek just laughed it off, reaching into the bag he'd brought. "Aw, shut up, Kyle. You're just jealous 'cause you're still single." He tossed a bottle of beer to Kyle before pulling out a pen drive and a couple more bottles.

"What's on the pen drive?" Chloe asked, her curiosity piqued as she watched Derek wave it in the air.

He grinned wickedly, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Oh, just one of the best porns I've ever seen in my life. Thought I'd share the experience with all my friends. Figured we could all enjoy watching it together."

Emily's face immediately turned red, and she looked away, her discomfort evident. "You know I'm not into stuff like that, Derek," she said, folding her arms.

Chloe rolled her eyes playfully. "C'mon, Em, it's fine. We're adults now. There's nothing wrong with watching a little porn."

"But…" Emily started, her voice lowering. "Getting physical in front of other people… it just feels weird, that's all."

Chloe waved a hand dismissively. "Relax. We're just watching. Nobody's gonna try to do anything with you here." She chuckled and leaned back. "Live a little."

The rest of the gang seemed to be on board, and Kyle raised his beer in a mock toast. "All right, let's see what you've got, Derek. Might as well entertain us."

"That's the spirit!" Derek exclaimed, setting up the TV. He dimmed the lights, casting the room in a low, flickering glow that felt both secretive and oddly thrilling. He inserted the pen drive into the TV and navigated to a folder packed with various videos. "Now, let's see… I've got a whole bunch of categories here," he said, scrolling through the list. "What should we start with?"

Tyler leaned forward, smirking. "You're the expert, Derek. Give us your best pick."

As Derek started to scroll through the list, Emily squirmed in her seat. She could feel a knot forming in her stomach, the kind of discomfort that wasn't just awkwardness, but a sense that something was off. The dim room, the content they were about to watch—it all seemed to create an atmosphere that she wasn't entirely comfortable with. But seeing the enthusiasm on her friends' faces, she didn't want to be the one to kill the vibe.

"Fine," she muttered to herself. "Just… go with it."

Derek finally settled on a video, hitting the play button with a triumphant "Here we go!" The screen flickered, and the sound of cheesy music started to play as the video began. The group burst into laughter at the ridiculousness of the opening scene, and the initial awkwardness seemed to ease as they settled into their seats, letting themselves get carried away in the moment.
