BUTI BOARD OF TRADES

Darsh found that there were 2 main herb distributors in the whole of the Keso Empire. These included the Jadi Chamber of Commerce and the Buti Board of Trades. These organizations had the same origin but because of a conflict, they became rivals.

The city in which Darsh was staying, had the Buti Board of Trades present. Darsh decided to go to the Buti Board of Trades first.

It was a cold day, but it did not affect the enthusiasm of the people of the city. The people on the streets were very energetic even on this chilly day. In the huge city surrounded by lush green forests, there stood a big shop 3 stories high. Although not as big as a castle, this shop gave off a majestic and inviting charm, as if it had been part of the city for generations. The wooden sign creaked softly in the breeze, displaying the name in elegant, hand-painted letters. Warm light spilled out of the windows, beckoning people in from the cold.

Darsh had reached the shop, he entered the shop and went to the counter. Just when he was about to ask the old woman for the herbs he needed, he saw a familiar face in the crowded shop. It was none other than Ravian Drake, the person who was responsible for the ambush on Darsh which nearly killed him (once again).

Darsh wondered why Ravian was in that place. When he had heard the news of his sect's demise, he had thought that Ravian had also died like everybody else.

"What do you want, young man?"

Suddenly, a shrill and old voice sounded which woke Darsh from his brainstorming session. The voice had an ancient aura to it, which made the hairs on the back of Darsh's neck stand up, as though it carried the weight of centuries, echoing with wisdom and forgotten knowledge.

Darsh had gained not only Reid's memories but also his instinctual feelings. These helped him discern someone's true nature after just a few words while conversing. This applies to the current situation too. Darsh knew from this instinct he had inherited that the old woman in front of him was not an ordinary person.

Darsh didn't let his inner turmoil show on his face in the slightest and continued to ask for the herbs. He was told by that old lady that they had all the herbs present in their shop except for one. She told him to come 2 days later to get the herb as they had to inform the other branch which had the herb to deliver it. These herbs drained most of Darsh's funds that he had brought from his home.

Darsh needed these herbs to make a special type of pill that could help him breakthrough to the next Realm more quickly and also more safely.

Almost 7 out of 10 people who reach the peak of Manas Initialization Realm fail to breakthrough the next realm. And in these people 2 to 3 even get seriously injured in the failed breakthrough process or in some rare cases, even die.

Darsh's cultivation speed was out of this world because of his special breathing technique. This helped him to breakthrough to the peak of Manas Initialization Realm. But this break next speed had also become a big obstacle in Darsh's cultivation. Darsh did not possess the enlightenment he needed to breakthrough to the next Realm. Even Reid's memories were useless in this situation for him because everyone had a different perspective and similarly different enlightenment. Reid's enlightenment was very different. Darsh was in a unique situation here as well. Even though Reid's memories were significantly larger than his own two lifetimes combined, they didn't affect his decision-making and his perspective of this world.

Darsh had all the experience from Reid's memories but not his own. He needed his own life experience to gain enlightenment. And to do so, he had to postpone his cultivation progress for now. He would have to travel the world, see the wonders, and develop his own opinions to progress further.
