Chapter 315: Their Respective Decisions

"Very well! Everyone should follow All Might's example and stop resisting pointlessly!" The iron-masked, red-haired man sneered as he scanned the crowd from the stage.

"Damn it..."

Lying on the ground, All Might turned his gaze toward his friend, Dr. David. At this moment, his only hope was that David, as one of I-Island's top figures, could find a way to help.

Seeing All Might's look, Dr. David nodded slightly, silently conveying his determination. It was almost as if they were communicating telepathically.

Toshinori, I'll figure something out. For now, just do as they say.

Trust me—I'll rescue everyone, including that boy! Until then, you must endure!

---

Meanwhile, in Hall No. 7, everyone's expressions turned grim.

As Hero Course students, they weren't naive enough to believe everything the emergency broadcast had said.

Nine times out of ten, something serious had happened.

Among them, Kaminari was in the worst mood. He didn't even need to think to know that his parents and Tobio were likely caught in the middle of the incident.

That realization made his frustration spike.

Because of his father's past injuries, he had already been imprisoned once and forced into owing favors to multiple parties. That was the only reason he wasn't consumed by an immediate urge to kill.

But if any harm came to his parents…

If they suffered even the slightest injury, then no matter who stood in his way, villains or Pro Heroes alike, he wouldn't hesitate to eliminate every single obstacle in his path.

However, now that Kyoka was in his life, a small sliver of uncertainty held him back.

"As expected, our phones are useless, and any external communication seems to have been completely cut off," Todoroki, dressed in a white suit, said as he stared at his phone screen.

Mineta, trembling in fear, looked up at the steel plates sealing the ceiling. "No way… Is this really happening? Why?!"

In the distance, Kyoka pressed the elevator button a few times before turning to Kaminari with a calm expression. "No response. It's completely locked down."

Melissa, a resident of the island, furrowed her brows in confusion. Pressing a finger to her chin, she mused aloud, "It's strange… Just setting up explosives shouldn't have triggered a full-scale security lockdown."

"It must be the work of villains," Kaminari said flatly, his face unreadable as he flexed his wrists and ankles.

"It looks like Tetsutetsu's disappearance is connected to them. He probably fought back against whoever's behind this."

Momo nodded, her expression filled with concern. "Yes… and considering the current situation, it's likely that Tetsutetsu lost. I just hope he's still—"

"He'll be fine," Kaminari interrupted firmly. "That guy's as tough as his Quirk. He's my teammate, he won't go down that easily."

Without another word, he turned and walked toward the emergency exit stairs.

"Kaminari-kun, where are you going?!" Iida called after him, confused.

Kaminari glanced back, his eyes cold. "Where else? We're heading to the venue on the second floor."

"Indeed, we should go there immediately," Midoriya added, feeling somewhat reassured. "After all, All Might is there."

"All Might?!"

Momo, Uraraka, Mineta, and the others, who hadn't known about All Might's presence—were visibly surprised.

"If that's the case… then why is the second floor so silent?" Kaminari's voice was low and steady.

"There are only two possible explanations. One—All Might isn't actually there. Or two—All Might has already been taken down."

"That…"

Midoriya opened his mouth but struggled to respond.

Subjectively, he didn't believe anyone could defeat All Might.

But logically, Kaminari's reasoning made too much sense to ignore.

"So don't pin all your hopes on him. Be prepared to handle this ourselves."

"Think back to the USJ attack."

With that, Kaminari stepped forward and strode toward the emergency exit.

Melissa suddenly ran after him. "Let me lead the way!"

Her father was in that venue—she had to help.

---

Quietly, the group reached the top of the second floor, sticking to the shadows like they had been trained to in their stealth exercises.

Hiding behind a thick steel pillar, Kaminari scanned the room below.

The moment he saw his parents unharmed, his heart finally settled.

At that moment, Midoriya made a hand signal, indicating that they should return to the first floor first. Kaminari hesitated but ultimately followed.

Back in the hall, the group gathered to hear what their classmate, the boy who could very well be the protagonist of this story—had to say.

"We managed to use Kyoka's Quirk to communicate with All Might and get an update on the situation."

As everyone focused on him, Midoriya spoke with firm resolve. There was no trace of his usual timid nature, his expression was serious and composed.

"The villains have taken control of the tower's upper floors and have hijacked the security system. Right now, every person on I-Island is their hostage, and all the Pro Heroes have been captured."

"And…"

Midoriya hesitated, glancing at Kaminari. He knew the next piece of information would likely set him off.

"This is about Tetsutetsu, isn't it?" Kaminari asked, his tone icy.

Midoriya nodded and took a deep breath.

"All Might said that Tetsutetsu has been captured by the villains. He's badly injured and might be unconscious."

Silence fell over the room.

The students of Class 1-A exchanged uneasy glances, their expressions filled with dread.

For the first time, they were facing the real possibility of one of their classmates not making it out alive.

"Did All Might say where Tetsutetsu is being held?" Kaminari asked, barely containing his anger.

"He doesn't know the exact location, but he caught a glimpse of a number, it was either '88' or '66'."

As soon as Midoriya said this, Melissa's eyes widened.

"It must be either Dock 88 or Dock 66! Those are the main supply entry points for the island."

"Do you know anything specific about them? Anything that could help distinguish between the two?" Kaminari pressed.

Melissa shook her head regretfully. "I'm just a student. I've never been near those areas, and I wouldn't even be allowed to if I tried."

"What about their locations?" Momo asked. If the two docks weren't far apart, they could search both.

"They're on opposite ends of the island," Melissa explained. "Dock 88 is on the far west, while Dock 66 is in the southeast."

"What do we do?!" Mineta panicked, nearly pulling his hair out. The thought of a classmate potentially dying was driving him into a frenzy.

"We send the two fastest among us to each dock," Todoroki suggested. "But we'll definitely have to deal with security robots along the way."

Asui Tsuyu added, "The good news is that there probably aren't any villains stationed outside the tower."

The group turned to Kaminari and Iida.

The two exchanged a look—both seeing the same determination reflected in each other's eyes.

"In that case, I'll head to Dock 88," Iida declared. "If Tetsutetsu is there, I'll get him out as fast as I can!"

Kaminari nodded, then turned toward the sealed door.

"Then I'll go to Dock 66."

Mineta hesitated. "So… do the rest of us just wait here? Or do we follow All Might's advice and head back to the hotel, leaving everything to the Pro Heroes?"

"No!"

Midoriya suddenly stood up, his eyes blazing with determination.

"We're going to save everyone!"
