Chapter 317: Fury!

Kaminari flew at high altitude for more than twenty minutes, crossing the commercial district, the harbor district, and the residential zone between the central tower and the outer seaport.

"Sixty-six... sixty-six... where is sixty-six?"

Upon reaching the outer edge of I-Island, he didn't immediately find Dock No. 66 as expected. Instead, the first thing in sight was Dock No. 46.

Circling the area again, he finally found the right direction. Following the outer wall of the towering artificial island, he passed one numbered dock after another.

At last, he spotted his target—the seaport gate labeled "66." Of course, it was closed.

[Zzzzzzt—!]

The crackling sound of electricity filled the air as Kaminari activated his Quirk. Like a golden meteor streaking through the sky, he shot toward the gate at full speed.

[BOOM!]

Unsurprisingly, the seaport gate, far weaker than the central tower's structure was blasted apart by Kaminari's attack. Without hesitation, he rushed inside.

The so-called "outlet" was actually a warehouse-like docking area used for ship entry, cargo loading, and unloading.

At this moment, there were no lights inside, but the golden sparks crackling around Kaminari's body illuminated everything.

"Tetsutetsu... Tetsutetsu!"

The sight before him was different from what he had imagined. There were no villains guarding the area as he had expected. Instead, he saw Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu pinned against the wall, trapped by several massive iron pillars.

Bright red blood stained Tetsutetsu's body, and the thick stench of blood from the pool beneath him filled the air. The moment Kaminari took it all in, his eyes turned red with rage.

"I'm here, Tetsutetsu! Wake up! Wake up!"

In the blink of an eye, Kaminari, completely transformed into a Super Saiyan-like state, appeared in front of Tetsutetsu. With a furious roar, he activated Raikiri, slicing through the iron pillars holding his friend captive.

[CLANG!]

The moment the pillars fell away, the bloodied Tetsutetsu collapsed straight into Kaminari's arms. To avoid harming him with his high-voltage electricity, Kaminari instantly deactivated his Quirk.

But the damage was already done—Tetsutetsu's blood seeped into Kaminari's once-clean suit and white shirt.

At the same time, he noticed how unnaturally cold Tetsutetsu's body felt. Thankfully, a faint breath still remained in his nose.

Kaminari clenched his teeth in regret. Damn it! Why didn't I bring Pikachu with me?! Pikachu always carried life-saving supplies like hemostatic agents and stimulants!

"What do I do... what do I do... what do I do now?!"

Just as panic threatened to overwhelm him, a memory flashed in his mind, the time he had saved a girl injured by a stone villain.

[Zzzzzzzt—]

Golden sparks flickered across Kaminari's palms. Soon, these small but obedient lightning bolts slithered over Tetsutetsu's body, seeping into his muscles.

[God-Speed—Activate!]

Though Kaminari's Quirk didn't have healing properties, the God-Speed he developed could temporarily enhance the body's functions.

Not stopping there, he channeled a concentrated electric current into his hand, generating intense heat to cauterize Tetsutetsu's wounds, stopping the bleeding.

It wasn't perfect, this would leave some ugly scars on Tetsutetsu's arms and thighs, but it was better than him bleeding out!

"Ugh..."

It was unclear if it was the effect of Kaminari's technique or the searing heat, but Tetsutetsu suddenly groaned, his eyelids fluttering open.

"K-Kaminari...?"

"Yeah," Kaminari nodded, forcing a smile. "It's okay. I'm here to save you."

"Kaminari... that..."

Tetsutetsu tried to say something, but Kaminari didn't give him the chance. Instead, he hoisted him onto his back and started moving.

"Whatever it is, save it for when you're lying in a hospital bed!"

Kaminari knew Tetsutetsu wanted to share intel about the villains. But right now, all he cared about was getting his friend to a hospital. Tetsutetsu was in critical condition.

"Wait... Kaminari, wait..."

Kaminari stopped, confused. In a weak voice, Tetsutetsu muttered, "Can you... can you bring my combat uniform with us?"

"The battle suit can wait! You need a blood transfusion and immediate treatment!" Kaminari snapped, frustrated that Tetsutetsu was still worrying about trivial things.

"But... but that's the Coat of Justice you gave me... I don't want to leave it behind..."

Kaminari froze for a moment. Then, after a few seconds of silence, he turned around.

With Tetsutetsu still on his back, he carefully picked up the Coat of Justice and gently draped it over him before carrying him again.

"Sorry... this might be a bit heavier..."

"It's not heavy."

Carrying his best friend, Kaminari activated God-Speed and rushed toward the exit of Dock No. 66.

He couldn't use God-Speed since it would harm Tetsutetsu, so he had no choice but to make his way on foot to the hospital.

Just then, Tetsutetsu spoke again.

"There are... people inside... and... more than ten security guards..."

"I don't care."

"I can't deal with them right now!"

A cold sea breeze swept through the night, ruffling their hair and clothes. Under the soft glow of the moonlight, their overlapping shadows stretched long across the concrete ground—illuminating the path ahead.

"Hey... Kaminari..."

"What is it?"

"I... I feel sleepy..."

Hearing Tetsutetsu's weakening voice, Kaminari's heart skipped a beat. His grip tightened.

"No! You're not sleepy! You are not allowed to sleep!"

His pace quickened, urgency creeping into his every step. Sweat trickled down his forehead, mixing with the tears streaming from his eyes.

Fear gripped him, fear of losing his friend, fear of watching someone he cared about slip away. The slower Tetsutetsu's breathing became, the more that fear took root in his heart.

"But..."

"No buts! Listen to me, you idiot! If you dare fall asleep right now, I'll never acknowledge you as my friend again!"

Then, a desperate idea struck Kaminari. He quickly added, "That's right! Tell me about the villains—especially the bastard who did this to you!"

"V-villains..."

Tetsutetsu's mind hazily recalled the figure of a red-haired man wearing an iron mask.

"Yeah! Tell me everything! That way, it'll be easier for me to fight him!"

This thought seemed to wake Tetsutetsu up a little. His fading consciousness steadied.

"Their boss is... a red-haired man... nearly two meters tall... wearing an iron mask..."

"His Quirk... allows him to control all metal within a certain range... through palm contact..."

Kaminari's brows furrowed. "Can he control you from a distance?"

"No... he can't control me... His Quirk is... kind of like Cementoss'... but way stronger..."

"His control over metal is harder, faster, and more powerful than the cement Cementoss manipulates..."

"And also... his body..."

Before Tetsutetsu could finish, Kaminari suddenly stopped. His voice dropped.

"Man, looks like we're in for a fight... but trust me, we'll make it to the hospital!"

Tetsutetsu weakly turned his head—only to see hundreds of security robots blocking their path, their red warning lights flashing ominously.

"Let me go! Kaminari, let me go! You can't fight with me on your back!"

"Shut up!"

"If you really want to help, then hold on tight so I can fight!"

Golden lightning surged from both of Kaminari's palms as he sneered.

"You think I can't handle a bunch of tin cans?"
