Chapter 54: The Superior Bows, His Physique is Great (2nd Update)

The next day, perhaps because of the change of environment, Zoe Bell woke up early feeling unrested. William Hale had drunk alcohol and was soundly asleep, so she didn't wake him. She washed up and left the room herself, and aside from the cleaning staff, there was no one else in the main hall.

Zoe Bell took a stroll in the yard.

The garden was styled with a unique elegance, each view a separate beauty.

Not daring to wander too far, she meandered nearby and unexpectedly saw Old Sir Hale squatting down and tending to something in a fenced-off garden. He heard her footsteps and looked up at her.

As their eyes met, Zoe Bell courteously called out, "Old Sir Hale, good morning."

"You're up quite early," Old Sir Hale responded with a stern tone.

He was holding a pair of scissors, pruning the branches, looking quite serious and seemingly difficult to approach.

Feeling nervous inside but with a gentle smile on her face, Zoe said, "Did you plant all these flowers?"
