Beckett Jeans' face changed dramatically in an instant!
When the manager approached, his face, too, became awkward.
The man's coarse panting,
the woman's low moaning,
and occasionally some lewd words and phrases. The manager forced a smile and said, "Young Master Jeans, maybe I got the room wrong. I'll go check with the staff again."
It was clearly an excuse.
The manager was no fool. After all, Beckett was Cressida Jones' ex-fiancé, and now he was practically a future brother-in-law. It was very likely that Miss Jones was in the room. Rushing in recklessly, with so many people, how would she face others afterwards?
Martin Yates frowned slightly. After all, he was the calm one. Those sounds...
They did not resemble those of his young friend.
So as the manager was stopping Beckett, and the two were arguing, he just glanced at his watch, ready to turn around and leave.
Since it had nothing to do with his young friend, he should be at the annual meeting by now.
