Adventurers 1

Opening the doors to an inn, I entered alongside Toph. I currently had on raven black armor, which covered me from head to toe. I had two long swords on my back... as for why I had this armor, it was because I remember something about the anime where Momonga had on this armor.

[Toph]-

Around both mine and Toph's necks was a necklace, we had on copper necklaces which showed we were copper rank adventurers, we were currently the lowest rank adventurers, but that wasn't a big deal.

Stepping into the Inn, my eyes scanned the place, collecting every piece of information that could be useful, until my eyes landed at a corner where a redhead was happily eyeing a Blue potion.

'I see...' I thought while looking around at everyone who eyeing Toph with a lustful gaze. The blind beauty was hot, I made her that way. She looked to be 18 years old and had a draw-dropping figure, and a few who saw she walked without shoes had a strange turn-on by that fact.

I didn't pause walking, to everyone I simply turned my head around the guild once. I headed to buy a room, and I of course wasn't in the mood to waste money, so when I arrived before the guy running the place, I used a charm spell to have the guy super nice, and give me a room for dirt cheap.

I did that for 1 reason, this would get the people in the bar displeased that Copper rank adventures could pay for a room at such a low price. Of course, the worker would question why he did that, but his mind would make a random reason for that... I just had to help his mind make that reason.

So, I headed towards my room but paused when a leg moved in my path to tip me. I looked down at the leg before sneering and moving the leg out of my way and going on with my day.

"Hey! Just what do you think you're doing?" The man screamed while quickly moving to block my path, Toph almost moved to attack but I stopped her.

"How am I supposed to work with a busted leg? But you have quite the beauty with you, how about kissing it to make it feel better?" he said, eyeing Toph up and down with lust. Toph's eyes narrowed at this, but before she could lash out I spoke.

"There is a saying I heard before... a good dog doesn't block the road... well, in your case, a good dog doesn't block someone's path and start yapping," I said lightly, stunning the man, and hearing how a few people began to start laughing at that, he was enraged. He moved to attack me, but I just picked him up and threw him across the room with one hand, something which shocked everyone who saw.

The man just so happened to land on a potion... belonging to a redhead. This caused her to scream as she saw the potion she saved for months to buy go to waste. She threw a hateful glare at the man on the ground, before she looked towards me, and without a hint of fear, blinded by rage, she rushed over to me.

"The hell is wrong with you? You just destroyed my potions! You know how long it took me to save up for that? I had to skip meals and go without drinking, it took fucking months." She screamed to which I thought for a second.

"My apologies... how would you like me to repay you? I could give you another potion, but for that, you would need to join my party as my potions are special." I said calmly making her give me a weird look. But as I pulled out my potion, her eyes widened seeing the blood-red potion.

"My potion should be worth at least 10 of those blue potions, it's not an equal trade... so, what do you say?" I asked while Toph looked at me in confusion, not understanding why I would go so far. She had nothing against humans, but still.

Many of the NPCs didn't hate all humans. After all, amongst the NPCs of Nazarick was a human who had one of the most important jobs in Nazarick. The NPCs of Nazarick hate outsiders and see them as lesser lifeforms.

Aureole Omega was the only human within Nazarick. Aureole Omega is an Area Guardian of the Cherry Blossom Sanctuary and the leader of the "Pleiades Seven Sisters," the battlemaid squad of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

She is in charge of the Teleportation Gates throughout Nazarick. At the same time, she is also tasked with protecting the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown in the Cherry Blossom Sanctuary.

"I will need to check first." The girl said while taking the potion I gave her,

"Well, you know where to find me. I will be in room 69." I said lightly, to which she nodded while watching me leave before she looked at the potion in her hands... before she went to go see the best alchemist in the city.

"Why would you want her to join us?" Toph asked while seeing my Raven Black Armor disappear, replaced with simple clothing. I sat there in my skeleton form, wearing everyday clothing.

"First stand up," I said lightly as she was kneeling before me, and with that, she sat up with a smile. There were 2 reasons why I had her join me. One, her sensory capability would be extremely useful. And she was more human than most of the NPC, allowing her to blend in amongst the humans and also act as I wish. For example, other NPC would have a hard time being normal around me and stop calling me Lord, but she was different as she quickly did as I asked.

"First, where is that woman at?" I asked calmly.

"She is at the alchemist shop we had passed... I see, you gave that potion to get near the best alchemist in town. Now that alchemist would be drawn over to you to know the secret of that potion." She said in understanding, while I nodded lightly.

Thanks to her deep connection with the earth, she could sense everything for a large range. It wasn't limited to simply the ground, for thanks to her passive skill, [Eye Of Joro] she was able to sense everything that took place around her on the planet she was on.

In the game, this would have appeared as Toph having a mini-map that showed everything for a large range. With that mini-map, she would be able to zoom in on places and listen in on said places as if she were there. The closer the target was to the earth, the clearer she would be able to hear.

As of now, Toph had a 360-degree map in her head. If she wanted, she could focus on that alchemist and listen in on them... also, this ability only grows stronger the greater her level is. As of now, she is at level 150, giving her the power to sense everything in about 15 miles around her. That could be high in the sky, or straight down. It was all within her senses.

"There is a chance she might not return to us, but that doesn't matter. So long as the alchemist is drowned to me, then I'm okay." I said lightly,

"Say the word, and I shall kill her the second she steps out of the city, and hide her body so deep underground, no one would ever find her," Toph said seriously, another thing about her skills. She could control the earth anywhere within her sense, in other words, everything within 15 miles from us could be attacked, the safest place was in the air, and even then, you would still be in the range of her attacks.

"No, let things be," I said with a shake of my head, while slowly my skeleton appearance transformed, replaced with my human form.

[Human Form]-

"... Although I can't see you, I could feel your beauty, my lord.... not saying that you were not beautiful before, I find your undead state as the most beautiful," Toph said quickly, scared that she made a mistake.

"Haha, no need to be so flustered. It pleases me." I said with a gentle smile,

"I'm curious about your thoughts, who should I marry? I have heard about the thoughts about me having a harem, and how many of you wish for me to have children. Although I'm unsure if I could even have kids, as your master, whom am I to refuse my children when they want other siblings?" I said nobly,

"M-my lord, I didn't know such matter weighted heavily on you. Please don't concern yourself with such a matter, we are not worthy." Toph said tears slowly appearing in her lifeless eyes.

"But what type of master would I be if I ignored the wishes and desires of my servants? With how things are going, I will have a harem, I just want to ensure I don't pressure anyone into joining my harem if they don't want to... That would break my heart." I said lightly, Toph tears fell like raindrops. She tried to hold the tears back, but they just kept falling nonstop, how couldn't she be moved to tears hearing and feeling just how moved her master was on this matter?

'Although I could just order them, I want to avoid possible problems. Good thing I had this ring.' I thought while throwing a look towards a ring on my finger. It was a ring I created called [the Ring of Acting]. It was a world-class item that boosted acting skills, I couldn't help but wonder how this ring would have worked within the game...
