"Don't hurt my child!"
The woman shouted fiercely at the general without any fear, then embraced Caesar to protect him.
"This child is dangerous. He has a forbidden and volatile bloodline. If he cannot control himself, he will kill everyone around him, including you and your husband."
"Even if he manages to control his power? As I mentioned, his bloodline is forbidden, so he will be hunted by all the races. Do you still insist on protecting him?"
"Please, don't hurt him..."
The man knelt beside his wife, and they both begged the general.
The general smiled, stood up, and patted the man on the head, saying:
"You two are truly good people... Don't worry, no matter what happens, I will not kill a child just for such a foolish excuse."
"Really?!!"
The woman asked in surprise, her voice a mix of happiness and doubt, as she hugged the child more tightly, as if unsure of the general's words, which made him laugh.
"This child will be one of the protectors of Kemet in the future. He will be my son's right-hand man in agriculture. I am sure that good people like you two will help make him so."
"But for now, I must seal his power until Jowalin wakes up, and he will help him."
It seemed that the general was aware of Jowalin's situation, and was confident that he would wake up with immense power. But did he expect Jowalin to start with a new technique from the beginning? I doubt that.
The general extended his hand, and the man and woman didn't resist. A blue energy flowed out, transforming into a small celestial flame. The general then drew several hieroglyphic symbols over Caesar's heart.
Immediately, Caesar calmed down, and his body returned to normal, while the general vanished in an instant, leaving his voice in the child's ear:
"I will rely on you, boy."
---
Five years later, in the same house, there was a happy event for this small family. The wife was about to give birth.
After fifteen years of marriage without children, she finally gave birth to her first child.
Outside the door, Caesar and his father were standing anxiously, pacing around the door, waiting for the good news.
"Caesar, are you happy that you're going to have a brother or sister?"
"....Yes."
"Hahaha... Well done. I want you to promise me you'll protect the newborn. Your sibling will be your greatest support in life."
"I promise, Dad, I will protect my sister."
"My sister?! Why do you think it's a girl?"
"I don't know, but I think it's a girl."
"...."
The man was about to speak when a woman came out of the room holding a small baby in her arms, smiling.
"Congratulations! She's as beautiful as our mother."
"Hahaha... Well done, my wife. You've brought me another version of yourself."
The man joyfully carried the girl, and Caesar watched from the side. The little girl extended her finger toward Caesar.
"!!!"
Caesar was struck by lightning and moved instinctively toward the girl, holding her hand as the girl laughed.
When Caesar saw that, he smiled, and a tender look appeared on his usually mischievous face. The man smiled when he saw this, then carried Caesar and entered to see his wife, who was tired from the birth.
"My wife, what shall we name her?"
"Panting... Since she's so beautiful, and she is the flower that crowned our long relationship, I will call her Sarah, like a little princess."
"Sarah... the noble princess who delights people... What a beautiful name! Hahaha, as expected from my wife."
From that moment on, Caesar's life completely changed. He was no longer the grim boy he once was but became incredibly happy after having his beautiful little sister.
He felt that his life had gained meaning and purpose, and he made it his mission to protect and bring happiness to his little sister.
Caesar always carried his sister on his back and took her to school, always with her like a guardian.
One day, a monster invasion occurred. When the general left, almost all the strong people went with him, and Kemet became weak.
Even those in power didn't care about the lives of the poor, so a monster invasion was a disaster for these people.
The monsters first attacked the poor areas, as they were on the outskirts. The sounds of death rose, but no one came to their aid.
One of the monsters, a huge wolf, charged toward Caesar's parents' house.
The wolf lunged at Caesar, who was carrying Sarah and running quickly.
"!!!!"
But suddenly, Caesar stopped when he heard the sound of blood dripping, only to find his parents standing in front of him, their backs to the wolf whose claws were piercing their bodies.
"Dad... Mom..."
Both Sarah and Caesar screamed in deep sorrow. Caesar's eyes turned black until he heard his parents' voices:
"Caesar... Please, protect your sister well. We are counting on you, son."
---
Back in reality, Jowalin carried Caesar to his rundown home and placed him on the bed, then waited for him to wake up. He went to his mother and sister, who were comforting Sarah.
"You little girl..."
"My name is Sarah... Humph, I told you before that I'm not a little girl... right?"
Sarah interrupted Jowalin with a cute tone, making Sirin and Isis look at each other and smile.
"Okay... Little girl Sarah... Is this child really your blood brother?"
"????"
Sarah was slightly shocked. How did Jowalin know this?
"Well... he's not my blood brother, but why are you asking?"
"Your brother's bloodline is very dangerous. Though your talent is terrifying, you haven't discovered it yet, but your bloodline is completely different from your brother's."
"How is my brother's bloodline dangerous?! Is he in danger?"
Sarah didn't care about what Jowalin had said about her talent, but she was very worried about her brother. Jowalin smiled and said:
"He's not just in danger; everyone around him is too. If he doesn't kill himself or kill them, everyone will chase him, and they will kill him and his family."
Sarah panicked and was about to cry, but Jowalin continued:
"But that's if I'm not here."
"Humph... Why are you scaring me then? You're really bad."
Sarah got angry and puffed her cheeks like her mother, which made Rayed slightly fall for her beauty.
"Umm..."
Jowalin returned to reality, feeling a bit embarrassed when he heard his mother's voice and saw Isis' teasing smile. Jowalin gently pinched Isis's cheek and said:
"Why are you laughing, you little rascal?"
"Hahahahaha..."
Isis laughed hard, then took Sarah to the side, leaving Sirin and Jowalin together.
"Why were you hiding your power, Mom, even though those fools were being disrespectful to you?"
