Chapter 3: It’s hard without you………..

They reached a hospital owned by Bianca's family and rushed to the VIP ward where Yatharv’s parents were admitted. Aarohi’s heart broke into pieces when she saw her brother and sister-in-law on deathbeds. They were lying on the same bed and she laid their son between them so they could spend some time with their son. Aarohi teared up when she saw their conditions and held her brother’s hand, “Bhai, You are leaving me?”, in an innocent tone like a little sister and looked at her sister-in-law, “Bhabhi, you too?”. She teared up again but her sister-in-law cupped her cheek and caressed it with a weak smile which made Aarohi sob slightly. "Aaru, Take care of our son and continue our legacy. Take care of yourself and don't overwork. I will be watching you and if I see you overworking, I will send someone to smack your head and scold you." Her sister-in-law Shivangi said weakly to Aarohi. Abhimanyu looked at Bianca's Family and Dhruv (his secretary) . "I trust you guys with my sister and my son's protection. Dhruv, I want you to be her secretary and help her with business and other work. All of you have the right to scold her if she overworks Or becomes a workaholic." Said with a husky voice. Bianca's family promised that they would take care of Aarohi and Yatharv. After a while, everyone heard rapid bump sounds which made them realize that they were about to take their last breath. Aarohi held their hands with tears in her eyes which didn't dare to fall. Soon Abhimanyu and Shivangi left the world, and Aarohi sat on a chair while holding her tears. Dhruv approached her and laid his hand on her shoulder. She looked at him with a broken heart and hugged him tightly, seeing her breaking down softened Bianca's family. They were glad that Dhruv was there for her. Later Russo family arrived at a ward and saw Aarohi’s condition. Ivan's gaze softened and held her tightly in his embrace which Bianca's didn't like as they were Mafia Rivals. Shivangi's father sent her to freshen up until everything was taken care of by them. Russo's family didn't want her to see their rival relationship affect her situation so they made her freshen up in the restroom.

When she left to restroom while still processing her condition. Shivangi's father looked at Bianca's family, "I know we have differences among us. But for her let's cooperate." said softly which surprised Bianca's family but they understood and nodded. Ivan went to take care of finance and other work related to hospital papers. As Aarohi went to the restroom and washed her face, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and began to cry once again. She started to breathe heavily and sweat, experiencing a panic attack. Leaning against the wall and closing her eyes while holding her head, she was struggling with physical and mental exhaustion. Her thoughts turned to her dead fiance, Rudra, and she began to sob uncontrollably while hugging her knees. "I miss you, Rudra. Why did you leave me? It's so hard without you, my love. The pain of your absence is unbearable," she muttered through her tears.

After a few minutes, she came out with a fresh face but emptiness was evident in her eyes. She went to the ward where her brother and sister-in-law’s bodies were already sent for postmortem and she carried Yatharv in her arms from Ivan’s mom and looked at her nephew with love and determination. Shivangi looked at Dhruv, “Soon after the funeral, we will start working on security and investigation on their death. After four months, I will join the company. But until then I will work from home and take care of Yatharv at the same time” she said softly and smiled when Dhruv agreed.

After the funeral was done, she started working from home while taking care of her nephew. She usually gets up at 5.30 and starts her day with a workout and meditation. Later on, she was informed that Maids wouldn’t come for two months as it was their vacation. She decided to prepare breakfast for Bianca's family as a gratitude. She prepares breakfast for them every day and later feeds her nephew takes care of his daily needs later puts him to sleep. For an hour she spends time with Bianca's family gets ready for work prepares her room for work and always has her nephew next to her while working as he is too young. She takes care of Yatharv while talking with Dante’s sister Aurora and they talk about their school life and their families as well. They had a very understanding bond and Aarohi was able to trust her blindly. Yatharv loves to cling to Aurora and Aarohi more as they are his favourite people.

After dinner, she sat with the Bianca family to discuss matters on security for the naming ceremony and also had a brief meeting on family rules that she must follow. She was fine with the rules that they had made for safety reasons. After her meeting, she went to her room with Dante as he always helped her. They both cleaned her room and set Yatharv’s crib next to her bed. Dante was always there for her and her nephew no matter how much she hesitated. He always made sure they both were safe and this made Aarohi rely on him for most of the work. Both of them were like parents to him and Bianca family is like Yatharv’s family. Ivan often visited them and was like a favourite uncle to Yatharv.

A naming ceremony was held when Yatharv was six months old. This event was held in Ivan’s mansion as Shivangi wanted his naming ceremony in her parent's place. The ceremony was held in South Indian style where Aarohi and Dante sat in place of Yatharv’s parents' place but still, they had Shivangi and Abhimanyu’s photos during the ceremony. Ivan was jealous about the fact that Dante was sitting in his place and playing the role of Yatharv’s father. Ivan always had a soft spot for Aarohi and always loved her with his heart. On the other hand, Dante also had the same feelings towards Aarohi and Yatharv. He first fell for Yatharv’s innocence and then later fell for Aarohi’s motherly and soft nature.
