For a while, I posted only one chapter a week because I ran into a small issue with the 'language'/'naming' of some creatures in the recent chapters. I wasn’t sure which language to use for their names—and I even considered creating a simple one specifically for that purpose. I gave it a try, but I didn’t like the outcome and eventually gave up.

Echoes of Hollow

Around Japan, the earth rose to form an impenetrable wall. None of the creatures emerging from the portals could breach it—or even scratch its surface. 


Casualties mounted during the process. While patrolling the territory to cut off access to the sea, the Irregulars became unable to protect the weaker ones. The other hunters took on that role. They tried, yes. But even if the creatures were weak, their numbers were overwhelming—too vast to fight while grappling with their own internal struggles.
