“Have fun, kids! Don’t be back too late,” Joey called out with a smirk, crossing his arms and leaning back against the doorframe as he watched them from a distance.

Carter shot his brother an annoyed glance, rolling his eyes. “We’re not kids, and we won’t,” he muttered, trying to keep his cool. But his annoyance was clear, and Joey’s smirk only deepened, his amusement evident.

Nearby, Kokomi leaned casually against her sleek motorbike, arms crossed as she watched the brothers with a glimmer of humor in her eyes. She loved the way they bickered, always poking fun yet obviously close. After a moment, she lifted her wrist and glanced at her black watch, the sunlight glinting off its polished surface. Seeing that time was ticking away as the two brothers bickered, she had to step in. With a quick, decisive movement, she pushed herself off the bike and straightened, breaking into their conversation.
