NALEDI’S POV
I wasn’t comfortable staying in my room. Neither was I comfortable leaving the documents behind. So I left with it. I walked out of my room and made my way downstairs with the papers placed securely in my ass.
It wasn’t easy to walk properly but I handled it like a pro. It wasn’t my first rodeo anyway. I soon walked into the reason everything seemed to be out of sorts today.
Draken was held at gunpoint by one of the men, enclosed in a circle of armed men, pointing their guns at the man who held their master at gunpoint.
“Drop your guns!” The man roared, looking like a deranged man. “Drop your gun or I will kill him!”
I remained rooted to my spot, looking around with widened eyes.
“Do not drop your gun,” Draken muttered despite the gun in his head. “Don’t fucking drop your guns.”
The man tightened his grip on his neck, “You look like you are tired of this life, Draken.” He seethed, “One more word and I promise to send you right to hell where you belong.”
