Since we got to the hospital, Eddie has been in a coma for 5 hours which looked like eternity to me. Seeing her in this condition made my heart cringe with bitterness. Hours after hours, finally the day has come to an end and she's yet to pull through. I prayed earnestly for her to pull through, if not for anything at least for my sake. 


It has been two days and Eddie isn't showing any signs of recovery, rather her heartbeat is decreasing by every single passing minute. I have not even closed my eyes a bit even when the doctors and nurses urged me to go home. But the fear of leaving Eddie alone creeped over me making me shun everyone. 


How can I go home when my second half is not showing any signs of repucation. I feel all her pains, it's as if I'm the one undergoing the pains, I wasn't myself at all.
