Chapter 37: Regrets

All the people on the world has a different life, every single one of them is either wealthy, poor, good, bad, enjoyable, pure of suffering and many more. Taking one's life is enough to be considered as a sin to god. if it is to other people, you are gonna discriminate and leave them alone because of what they've done but... What if you are the one who did it?

What are you gonna feel if you are the one who killed a person? You are living a happy life, without even moving a finger or making an efforts to get what you want. You also didn't go to a battlefield in order for you to survive, you didn't also hunt in the wild just to get some food.

Killing a person when the only thing you've done in your life is because happy and not suffer but...

'i don't regret anything.... It is for my sister.'

I don't regret anything. That is the only thing that is coming in my mind right about now, I now know the feeling of killing someone. It is not like I killed 1 or 2 people, I killed over a hundred of them. Life may seem peaceful but..... You need to suffer too.

You didn't go to the battlefield to kill people but you go and continue in life as if it is a battlefield you need to survive on, you go and continue in life as if it is a wild you need to hunt in order to survive.

In life, if you have power, you will survive. Everything you do is depends on the way you think and plan, if you need to kill in order to survive, do it. If you need to kill in order to protect someone... It depends on you. Just think that you need to survive in this harsh world.

"Hey brother... You are here..."

I heard a beautiful voice coming from behind of the sofa I am sitting on, it is a very beautiful voice, the moment she speaks is as if an angel sent by god is speaking. She is the family I talk to this much, losing her is like making my existence in this world lose it's meaning.

If I need to kill in order to Protect the only family i have left, I will do it without any second thought.

"Yeah... How's your day yesterday?"

I asked her with a huge smile on my face as if nothing had happened last night. I just smiled at her but deep down, I am worried about when she will heard that I killed someone. I hope she will not found out about it.....

We both talk, tease each other, cook and eat together. It may seem like nothing change but deep down for me, I know that I killed someone who I don't even know if they are the one who did it or not. But I don't care, they once harass my sister, they will do it again and I am sure about it.

"By the way, I am going out again.... Ara and our long time friend is going with us, it was just us... And some bodyguards I think? The girl is pretty popular in the public so..."

I got shocked but I didn't let her notice it, i need to go with her in order to keep her safety. I am not gonna trust other people that I don't know for now...

"Im going with you."

"What? You don't need to...."

"Im going."

I said with a serious tone while still eating. I don't wanna let this situation happen again, I don't want her to get harassed by other people.

She still tries to assure me that nothing is going to happen that I don't need to come with her because she is only meeting some people but I didn't budge and still come with her.

'This place looked so fancy...'

I can only described this place as a hang out spot for celebrities and presidents. The interior, furnitures and the people that are working here are nice. They even ask us if we need something(they thought that both of them were celebrities.).

"Hello Mr. And Ms..... Uhm....."

The women worker here are kind of sweating and stuttering whipe looking at us, it is as if she is gonna get killed if she didn't managed to know who are we.

"Oh..... We're not celebrities or anything..... I am just wondering because my friend says that this is the place that I should wait..."

Sally explained to the women in which the women felt relieved amd breath more comfortably around us now that she just hear what did Sally says. She asked on what business do we have with her and just as about Sally was about to answer...

"Hey Sally! Over here!"

We both heard a women's voice coming from behind and of course we both look and saw a women with white and a brown eyes, she has a pale skin and based on her height, she is just as tall as my sister. 5'7.

"Kara!"

Sally also shouted as they both hugged each other, there are also one more person behind her with a purple hair and purple eyes...

'why are they both look so familiar to me.....? Information.'

"Oh..... So you are that girl....."

I accidentally said out loud, causing for the three of them to take a look at me. The women with white hair and brown eyes or should I say Kara is looking right at me. It seems like she is also wondering if we both see each other and I can't blame her because she also looks familiar to me.

'if I hadn't used the information skill, I'm not gonna be able to know that she is that girl...'

I said in my mind as I just looked at her. I don't planning on smiling because of what happened to me last night and I hope that I looked okay.

"Uhmm..... Have we met before?"

She asked as she looked away from me, her cheeks are kind of red and everytime our eyes met, she is gonna looked away from me, I wonder why.

"Yeah, you are that girl that was being harassed like... I think..... A week or a few days ago? Don't you remember me?"

She got shocked, not only did she, but almost all of the people here. Did I say something wrong for all of them to be looking at me like this? I mean they are looking at me before I even say that but..... They're looks are different now.....

"You are that guy...?"

I heard jer asked something to me but I also heard a voice from behind them, it is a voice of a middle aged man and by tje sound of his voice, I already who it is.

"Mr. Kim....."

Mr. Kim is the one who always gives me food almost all days ever since 5 years ago, the day we met each other. He saw me get beaten up by those thugs that was bullying me and then he defeated all of them in an instant... I wonder how strong is he?

He said with a respect tone as he bows his head Infront of Kara or whatever her name was. He is really a respectable men, he always keep his promises and take care everyone that is important to him. If I remember carefully, He has a son. He is really strong so I guess his son is also strong.

"It's okay! Please lift your head, and..."

A women with Purple hair go to my side and then wrapped her arms to mine.

"Hey, it's been a long time I guess, do you remmeber me?"

She says with a smile on her face, all the guards that are with them and even my sister, Mr. Kim and Kara looked at us.

"Uh....."

I don't remember who is she and there is only one way to find that out.

"Oh... Your... Mira...?"

I said hesitating to reveal my answer even though I already see her name that appeared in the notification.

"Why do you sound so hesitant?"

She says as she pouts at me, I then takey arm back because I really don't want what she is doing. I then diverted the topic to what are we supposed to be talking.

"So Sally, you said that this is were you and your friend is going to hangout right? Is this the friend you are talking about?"

"Oh yeah! This is Kara, it seems like you both know each other already!"

She says with a huge smile on her face. I am glad that she is forgetting that something is bothering her, I don't wanna remind her about that so I'm just gonna let her enjoy her moment and have fun with her friends.

"Let's go somewhere quieter, it is on the 15th floor so let's go into the elevator!"

Kara says as four of the bodyguards, including Mr. Kim come with us into the elevator. Even though we are so many in the elevator, it still has a big space that can fit about 15 or more people. Just how rich are they anyway?

//We are now on the 15th floor.//

You can hear a women's voice coming from the elevator as it opens, it is pretty amazing if you are gonna ask me. On this room that we are in, it is very wide. This is almost just as big as our entire house and you are telling me that this is only one of their floors?

'Are joking?'

There is a table in the middle where there are already some guards standing. To be specific, there is 10 of them. There is a guard in every corner and even on the entrance of the elevator.

"Please sit down and make yourself comfortable, the food is gonna arrive soon so please wait for a few minutes."

A man in a suit says, I think it is a bodyguard. After saying that, he gets back to his position and then just stand still. Even Mr. Kim is just standing right besides Kara. It is understandable for me because even if he knows me, he is still a bodyguard and addition that my sister is the only one who is supposed to be in here and not me because i am not even invited to be here.

"So uh... May I asked what is you name....?"

Kara who is sitting right Infront of me just suddenly asked something, I just waited for her to answer and and just looked at her and I think she gets what I was trying to say so she speaks up.

"Are you really the guy who saved me back then? You really looked like the guy....."

She says as she was still avoiding to met our eyes. What's wrong with her? Even my sister and Mira is looking shock at me and her because of the way she was acting, also some of the bodyguards are even looking at her.

"Yeah."

I don't wanna answer a very long so I just answer her straight forward and not beat around the bush. It is annoying if you keep doing that.

"Oh.... Thank you..... I can't even just say thank you because you risked your life trying to saved me..."

"It's okay."

"What do you mean it's okay? You might get beat up by those guys you know?"

"Yeah."

All four of them including Mr. Kim didn't say something but just looked at me. Is there something wrong from what I just said? I don't think so though..... I even answer her truthfully and without any bad intentions...

"The food is here.... This is a Lomo Soltado created by a Peruvian chef...."

A chef has arrived and keeps on explaining what kind of food did they cooked and there is only one thing that was on my mind.

'i dont care what's in there let me eat.'

"Please enjoy the food."

I then wait for them to grabbed something and just looked at the plate, Sally didn't hesitate to take some food and started to talk with.... Mira....? Whatever her name was.

"Are the food not on your liking? Shall I get the chef again?"

Kara suddenly talking so I then suddenly just dig in so she is not gonna talk anymore and leave me alone for a while. We both eat and the three girls just kept on talking while I am busy on just eating. The foods are very delicious but the cooking of my sister is still better.

"So uh..... Thank you again for saving me that day... I don't even know where to start for repaying my debt to you for saving mr so... Is there something you want?"

"Nah."

"Really? Just anything you want.... Think about it....."

"It's okay."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

They were all just looking at me that my sister used her elbows to hit me on mg side and when I looked at her, she gave me a signal to say that I should just agree so i couldn't do anything but to agree.

"So uh.... What do you want."

"..."

I didnt managed to answer quickly and I don't really like something at the moment plus, i have a lot of money necause of the quests and the system..... So I might as well just said something that will stop her from bothering m--

'oh yeah! Why didn't I think of that!'

I remember something that me and Julian really needed right about now, asking them is the best I think because Mr. Kim is here.

"I have a friend name Julian Reaper, he is my best friend. Me and him are currently finding a job so... Can you please accept us? We can do the test anytime you want not just now because I think Julian is busy....."

Calling him 'My bestfriend' is kind of nice to hear because I didnt really have that much friend..... You can count on you hand just how many friend I made my whole life..... Now that I think about it that in just a few days, we are gonna visit my cousin because of a celebration.... I wonder what is that guy up to now?

"Oh! Mr. Julian Reaper? Yeah we know him. Me and my dad discussed about his request and he says the same thing as you. I can't believe that the guy he meant as best friend is you..... What a big coincidence."

Looks like asking for that really isn't the best thing to ask because looks like Julian already asked this company...

"So uh... Are we qualified?"

I asked them just so I could know because we might not be qualified and this time, I'm gonna used the wish she was keep on asking me.

"Yeah, me and my dad agreed to it plus, it seems my dad is indebted to that guy so he agrees... Wait!"

She says put loud that it kind of stopped me from eating my food just so I could looked at her. Her eyes is kind of glowing as he leaned into me from the other side of the table that her face is really closed to mine. I don't really mind It because I dont care.

"How about this upcoming school year, you enrolled at our University?"

She just suddenly says in which made my eye kind of big due to shock not because of her offer but because of what she just says.

'they have a university?!"

They are really rich that I don't even know how to react even though I am also rich. What should I do with my money? Should I buy a new house?

"Uh..."

"Please think about it, I'm gonna wait for your answer."

She says as she stand up.

"Lets continue now! What do you wanna do Sally?"

She asked Sally with a huge smile on her face, it seems like they are on really good terms. Sally being a celebrity is really a good idea because of how much benefits she can gain from it, she has a beautiful face, good figure and all.

Just a few weeks ago even before when I got the system, some companies want to take my sister as a model from their company but Sally turn all of them down. She didn't even bother to accept their business card and just continue with her business.

'that too happened to me just I think a week ago.....'

They all just continue to have fun as we go down to the first floor. I just say to them that they should just have fun and don't mind me.

"Hey Jin, it has been a long time since we last talk to each other. How have you been?"

Mr. Kim says as he walked towards me with a smile on his face.

"Im okay, thanks for asking."

"You said that you wanna be a bodyguard in here right? How about I test you?"

That is kind of shocking, I know that he is strong but..... I am much more stronger than him now.... I think I should hold back..... Or should I just not agree? Well..... This might also be a test so let's just agree...

"Sure."
