"I want to propose that we join forces to remove Chen Fan, the third-largest shareholder, from all his positions in the company and kick him out!" Feng Yanli said with clear resentment toward Chen Fan.

Previously, Feng had been given direct instructions by President Kong of Yum Group to prevent Ascendas from cooperating with the Xia Group. But Chen Fan had not only defied this order, he had secured a long-term deal with the Xia Group, enraging President Kong. Feng Yanli had been scolded severely and ordered to teach Chen Fan a lesson.

Now, Feng Yanli was willing to set aside his rivalry with Jiang Hao, hoping they could work together to oust Chen Fan. If the two largest shareholders united, along with support from minor shareholders, removing Chen Fan would be a simple matter.
