Adventurers Guild

Caleb and Alice walking in the hallway of the rooms at the inn they finally found the their room

"Room 34, it's very clean in here" Caleb said seeing the inside of their room

Alice then sees that there's only a single bed for them but she didn't really care as she knows that Caleb will not be evil out of no where

"You may sleep for now as my sprinting speed might've tired you from not losing consciousness" Caleb said before leaving the room and going out the inn

"Well then i guess I should know more about this place" Caleb said in his mind and going everywhere in the kingdom

After a half an hour of exploring he finds a place that caught his interest

"Adventurers Guild?" Caleb said in his thoughts, seeing a large wooden place with a sign saying 'Adventurers Guild'

Out of curiosity Caleb decides to enter the Guild and immediately after he enters the people inside began chattering to themselves about Caleb as he's someone new and his outfit easily stands out

Caleb observing the place he sees a board where multiple paper is hanging with all having a different mission to do

Caleb then goes into the receptionist to inquire about more of this place but before he could speak a question the receptionist talks first

"You must be new around here, and your clothes are most likely from another world, could you be a Player" The receptionist said shocking Caleb that a lot of people knows how to spot a Player

"Yes i am but how can you easily tell" Caleb questions the receptionist as he's totally confused as to how they can analyze if someone is a Player

"Well your clothes are made with something that can't be acquired in this world" The receptionist said shocking Caleb again as he never thought that his clothes will be something impossible to get in this world

"Now that i have answered your question and since you're new around here do you want to register as a adventurer" The receptionist said

"What does a adventurer do and what do i get from being one?" Caleb asks as he doesn't want to be scammed without him even knowing

"The first thing you will get as a adventurer is a adventurer's card and depending on your rank that's ranging from the F as the lowest and S as the highest you will be allowed to go into some certain places, accept a mission that's at your rank and even get influential if you manage to reach A-rank" The receptionist explains and Caleb completely absorbed by the explanation he immediately understands all of it without any problems

"Now then are you gonna register as a Adventurer or not" The receptionist said and Caleb just nods signaling that he will register so the receptionist then goes out the front desk

"Follow me and you will be examined to know your rank and if you are strong enough you can get at the rank B-rank as the Guild can make a decision for that" The receptionist then leads the way into the back of the Guild where three people are fighting with wooden swords

And then at the moment the three sees Caleb they immediately stops fighting and goes to seat to a nearby bench

"Albert examine this Player" The receptionist said and the man at the middle of the bench smiles and stands

"A Player huh, well this is gonna be my first time examining a Player" the man said and tossing a wooden sword to Caleb and he easily catches it

"It seems like you have quite a keen reaction time" The man said

"Keen reaction time? That's a normal speed" Caleb thought but unbeknownst to him to the other's perspective it's as fast as an arrow launched from a bow

"Ready yourself as you will fight me so i can see your talent in swordsmanship" The man said pointing his sword at Caleb

Caleb then ready himself with a defensive stance that he learned from a game he's playing a long time ago

"What a weird stance but i guess its his stance from his world" the man said before rushing towards Caleb who's readying himself from the attack the man will do

"I just need to block it and make myself look like struggling and i will not catch too much attention" Caleb thought and blocking the incoming attack from the man

The man then tries to strike again but Caleb also blocks it again and this amazes the man

The man then intensifies his attacks and after a few moments of blocking Caleb decides that it's enough to get him a better rank than F-rank

"I lost, i can't fight anymore" Caleb said and the man stops his attack that's close to Caleb's neck

"You're very impressive for someone who only got into the Tower of grand countdown recently" the man said shocking Caleb that the tower actually have a name

"The tower is Caled like that?" Caleb asks to confirm if it's true and the man nods

"Well then since you are new to this world im sure you don't have much knowledge about magic so the examination for your magic power will be delayed but don't worry as you will be given a adventurer card" the man explains making Caleb happy that he will be able to get missions

"Then what do you think of his performance" the receptionist questioned the man

"It's impressive not only did he block my attack he also did it multiple twice, he's qualified to be a C-rank" The man said and the two other person seating at the bench then stands up

"Follow me your examination is done for now" the receptionist said and going back at the front desk
