Talking Some More With Fipi

ELENA POV—

Yesterday, after meeting Fipi, I was too tired. I didn't know when my eyes got shut. After I woke up, a thought came to my mind. I know what year am I in but I haven't yet checked the day and month. I asked, "Fipi, what day and month that you sent me to?"

Fipi said, "19th July, 2030"

Ah... so, I have reborn on the 18th July of the year 2030. I asked, "Why did you specifically choose this date?"

"It's because this date is one of the major cannon events in the book. Selene found her Space Ring on this day," replied Fipi.

"Wait! Then that means Selene never had any space powers. She lied to all of us. She had a ring which gave her the Spatial ability." I said.

I was surprised and shocked. Back in my previous life, out of the four most powerful abilities, Spatial ability is one of them.

"Fipi, how much big was the it? I mean the space in the ring?" I asked.

"It was nearly 500-600 metres big."

After hearing this I was even more shocked. She would always say that she had a storage of about a room. Then again, this would explain how she could find food items and other essentials within a short interval of time. It wasn't because she searched and found them. It was because she had them.

"Fipi, do you know whenever I asked her for some food or something, she would say that she didn't have those. She would also say her storage was full. Looking back, I was an utter fool. An idiot who believed everything blindly."

"Host, though I know you want a peaceful life but you certainly must have had a thought of revenge once, am I right? A single thought, maybe?"

"Revenge, you say. Oh! You would be surprised to hear that there was not an even single freaking day that I never thought about revenge. I craved for it... but now, I don't. I just want a peaceful life. I know it's kind of idiotic of me to even expect a single day of peace in the upcoming apocalypse. Yet, I want it," I said.

Now that I know that, this entire world is made by the author for Selene. I don't have any complaints. I don't want revenge. To be honest, I am scared of her. She is the darling of this world. I don't know what would happen, if I against her. Maybe I will receive some kind of divine punishment again. It would be for the best if I stay away from her.

I turned my head and looked at Fipi. I asked, "Is it idiotic, Fipi? Am I a mad woman to expect peace in the end of the world? During the apocalypse, the entire human race will show the darkness in them. Can I even survive it?"

"Yes! You and me both will survive the apocalypse. Remember, if you die, I die. Also, you are not an idiot. With me, you can achieve your wish," said Fipi.

"Thank you very much, Fipi. Your words are very ensuring." I smiled and thanked him gratefully.

"Host, apart from this. Do you remember the events occurred on this day?" Fipi asked awkwardly.

How could I even forget this day? This day is the starting when all things in my life started to get worse for me. Selene and I had a big fight in the college.

Under some circumstances, Selene fell down the stairs. She didn't get hurt very much, just a bruise under her arm. As I was there with her, everyone assumed that I was the one who pushed her down the stairs. She never clarified as well. Instead, she indirectly accused me of pushing her.

I was suspended from school for two weeks. When I reached home, my so-called family prosecuted me. Apparently, the school called my parents to inform them about this incident and my misconduct. They shouted at me and put me on a house ban for a week. Hehe, they didn't give me a chance to say something to defend myself.

For them, I was always the bad one and Selene's the good one. Why did they ever bring me back home? They always wanted her to be their real daughter. Mom always said that she should have given birth to Selene, not me. Even my brothers wanted her to be their real sister. Outsiders always thought I was the adopted daughter whereas Selene was the real daughter.

I think they brought me back from the orphanage because they didn't want a child of their blood to be living like a homeless and an abandoned child, especially if her family is alive. I don't know what to call this. Pity or duty or even morality, whatever I call this will be wrong. Let's just call it job. One thing I know very clearly, they are very shitty in this job of theirs.

After punishing me, they took Selene for a family trip to somewhere. Evidently, it was to show how much they love and care for her.

I asked, "Did she find the ring during this trip? You also said this before that she found the ring on this day.'

Fipi replied, "You are correct. Host, she found out the ring when she got lost. During this trip, she even met her fourth love interest."

"Is his name Ivan?"

"Yes. That's his name."

Ivan Ramonford. I always thought that he held some kind of affection for Selene. He was always kind to her but cruel and cold for others. He also treated me very badly, often hitting me whenever I tried to oppose Selene. That's the reason why he did that. It was because he wanted to impress her. Huh, It seems after death I got enlightened with the help of Fipi. I don't want to do anything with either Selene or her group of admirers.

Let's think about it later. Suddenly, a question raised in my mind.

"Fipi, how should I prepare for the apocalypse? Will you give me or something?" I asked

"Host, I am sorry. I don't have any method to just give you whatever powers you want. I am incapable of it. I am not a very powerful system. Though I can't give you powers but I can help you attain them,' Fipi said.

"I don't understand. I mean how can you help me attain them?"

"Host, in your previous life you were an Inept but with my help, you can awaken the powers within you. Sorry, I know I am useless but rest assured, I will help you to my utmost."

I nodded and said, "Don't be sorry, Fipi. You are not useless and you being with me is enough."

Fipi smiled and flapped his wings happily.

'So, Fipi, what I have to do to attain the powers?'

"Host, I will tell you about it when the time comes."

"Then, what do I need to do?"

Fipi smirked and said, "The first thing we should do is to go to an important place."

When I heard that, I was bit confused but after carefully thinking, I understood what he wanted to say.

"Wait! Don't tell me you want me to go there. To that place."

Fipi didn't say anything. It flied came right in front of my face. It said, "Yes! Get ready host. We are going to the Marlon Fair."
