Ranks. Originally supposed to exist as a means of evaluating one's strength, originally, there are only four ranks amidst those who had awakened.
Their rank goes from Awakened to Enlightened to Ascendant, and finally to Transcendants; however, because sometimes there can be inaccurate estimations, ranks like this were made.
Note: Ascendant's has been changed to Antecedent, and Antecedent are the Equivalent of Enlightened above.
It is noted that the strongest of the Enlightened class can easily lay waste to cities, and even stronger ones can do so to an even larger societies.
Hence is why the Affiliates rule over the three continents must be absolutes. Because it should remain.
Statistically speaking, amidst 100% of the entire humanity that has awakened as a whole, about only 30% have attained Enlightenment; additionally, the ones at the Antecedents rank who had gained further insight are no less than 20%.
Transcendants are said to be less than ten in number.

As in its name, is the ability to recreate natural phenomena through the use of a energy called mana. Mana are generate from Mana Particles which can be found everywhere, even where Mana itself as an energy is inactive.
After all. Mana Particles are superluminal particles that move faster that light, literally reversing time for itself.
For those who can manipulate Mana Particles. They would never be affected by things like Anti-Magic, as they can manipulate something even more denser than an Mana.

In addition to those who are awakened, there are those capable of awakening Supernatural Abilities, naturally, that is to say that awakening a Supernatural Ability is as rare as becoming an Enlightened.
[Supernatural Abilities].
Different from Magic, while on they still, to some extent needs magic, as that itself is the entire foundation behind their supernatural abilities, abilities like those unlike magic require less mana for use—Chapter 22.
And yes. That is to say Anti-Magic has little to no effect on them overall, however, even amongst Supernatural Abilities, it varied differently.
Taking the Beastfallen and Rosebell for example.
Beastfallen's supernatural is a transformation type, and of course, it required no mana to activate but drains stamina, however, some of his attacks or techniques may be reliant on the use of mana.
However, for Arianna there is no need for such. She needs little to no need for Mana as her ability allows her to convert [information] into a [performance] depending on how much informations worth.
Then there are those that would require mana because of how they, for example, [Unique Type] like Damain's.
[Unique Type] like those could require certain conditions before they could be used. And you could refer to them as [Conditional-Based Superpowers].
[Ancient Spirits].
The art of summoning Spirits of Old to fight on her behalf.
These are different from elemental spirits, which are summoned directly from the spirit world to aid them in battle.
Spirits of Old can also be referred to as dead spirits, spirits who roam the border of the world after death. Most of them usually linger, then accumulate enough power to be called something like a local legend.
For instance, mountain gods are old, powerful spirits that had died a long time ago, but their spirits haven't dissipated nor departed for the afterlife and have been living as spirits for years.
Back then, these spirits usually found a mountain and inhabited it. Then, in return for protection from other evil spirits, people would worship these mountain gods, in return giving these mountain gods more powers.
Now that mana was a thing, exorcists who worked in tandem and served these mountain gods could now physically communicate with them and borrow their powers. Additionally to mountain gods, there were also many other spirits of old, including animals, humans, and even objects.
As long as they had a well-known history, human recognition of them, which is then fuelled by mana, makes impossible possible. It's possible to incarnate because of so.
