"I will do anything for you," she whispered. A sudden, eerie confession.
I hesitated. "Are you sure?"
She nodded.
Something inside me clicked. I don't know why, but this feels right.
I don't know what she is, how powerful, or what she truly wants.
But—she says she wants to hear me. She likes my voice.
And my gut tells me—she's not lying.
I took a breath. Cleared my throat. She leaned in, eager.
"I don't trust you."
She nodded. No reaction. No anger. Just… calm acceptance as if she knew or she does not care or willing to work her way up.
I expected an outburst. A tantrum. Some dramatic reveal of hidden malice, some slip of emotions, anything.
But—nothing. FUCK! Why did I take this 'honest' risk? Am I going mad in my head? What if she had an outburst?
I intently looked at her and all she did was curiously listen.
