Li Na pointed towards a Palanquin, it was no more makeshift but more refined with sharp edges and new as if they made it today.
"No…I am fine walking." I protested.
"Don't make me break your legs," Xun Lian threatened, cracking her knuckles.
I scoffed. "You wouldn't dare."
She took a step forward.
I immediately raised my hands. "Alright, alright." She would do it so no point provoking her.
Ling Ling giggled behind her sleeve as Li Na gestured to the palanquin. "It's for your own good, Master. You need to take care of yourself and we still have a long way to travel."
I sighed, knowing I wasn't going to win this. "Fine, but I'm only doing this because you all insist—not because I need it."
"Of course, Master," Li Na said, nodding along with the fakest agreement I had ever seen.
Even Li Na! At least she was the most honest one.
