One Hundred and Thirteen.

"You—" Ru Xian hissed, pulling back.

Xun Lian didn't waste words.

Instead, she attacked.

A twin slash—one blade cutting low, the other high—forcing Ru Xian to retreat.

The moment she stepped back, Xun Lian thrust both palms forward.

A wave of burning golden energy erupted from her, crashing into the ground like a wildfire.

The force sent Ru Xian skidding back, her robes smoldering.

Her eyes twitched. "Impossible! You should be out of Yang—"

Xun Lian smirked. I smirked too.

She raised her sword.

Ru Xian's gaze flickered to the still-glowing blade, realization dawning.

Not just her—everyone's weapons were still burning strong.

Because I had been keeping them powered.

And I just recharged Xun Lian Sword too when she came to defend me. She doesn't need to use her own Cultivation base to fuel the twin swords.

Because I had lied.

"You—" Ru Xian's expression twisted with fury.

I grinned.
